Please review the return policy with cashier Vanessa. She refused to scan my receipt for my online return and insisted the product sku is connected to the transaction the product is associated with. I performed a duplicate purchase online because I forgot to activate my bonus points on my initial purchase on 11/18/23. So I purchased the same products + more again on 11/19/23 after activating my bonus points. I came into the store on 11/30/23 to return the purchase I made on 11/18/23 (no bonus points), but instead of scanning my receipt, Vanessa scanned the products and claimed it’s from my purchase from 11/19/23 (bonus points). I explained to her what I did online and asked to return it to the appropriate transaction. Vanessa refused to return it to the correct transaction and refused to scan my physical receipt, saying she didn’t need my receipt. Please help Vanessa, her conduct at the register was not kind once I asked her to perform the return I came in for and kept making audible sighs because I didn’t comply to what she wanted to do. FYI I cannot verify if this associate’s name is Vanessa, she was not wearing a name tag, I just got it off of my receipt from another transaction that she deemed worthy. I stood right in the front where the new items are on display. ..Three staff members saw me looking like I need help ..but no one came over to offer assistance. So i finally asked one to come over. She looked annoyed as I asked her how is the product used and how is it compared to another more expensive product that has been out for a while. The staff had no idea how to use the cheaper 'dup' and what the established brand product was. Then she didn't even bother to tell me that they were out of stock of the newly launched product and was rather rude and made a snide remark about my appearance . Also I got no samples ..no gifts even though I purchased 130$ worth of merchandise. This Store Has Some Good Employees But the bad ones are bad. And they are out of stocks frequently. Management need to retrain staff on customer service and to check the stocks on popular items and replenish as appropriate. Associates on the floor were kind and checked in occasionally, but when I was finished with my shopping and went to check out, I was informed that a product that had a 50% off entire brand sign on it actually wasn’t 50% off. The cashier informed me that they put out the signs for the daily 50% off deals the night before, so that’s why the sign was out. We were shopping a little before close, but to me that’s not the customer’s job to know what is and what isn’t 50% off. If it has a sign, that should be honored- it’s not my fault you put it out early, maybe have your opener do that. Just frustrating since I was excited for the purchase.
