Willmore Heritage Garden — Attraction in Long Beach

For years I heard of the Beauty that was the Jergins Building, always wondering what it must have looked like. So one day while taking this street I saw these columns and thought... pretty but weird. Finally I decided to walk on over and see what these thing are... To my amazement... The only remaing piece of the once grand Jergins. The building is no longer here and the lot where Jergins once stood has remained empty for 30+ years... but a little piece...

This used to be a quiet and calm place to hang out but I've noticed it has turned into a dump. The reason is there are druggies and thugs hanging around after it gets dark and they have pretty much tagged the place with their stupid graffiti and trashed it. It really makes the garden feel unsafe and it used to be really clean. Seriously, the city or police hasn't even bother taking a look or done...

This is a wonderful community project that was started by the Willmore City Heritage Association. There are two pillars from the historic Jergins Trust and Oil Bulding that was located on Pine Ave and Ocean Blvd. This area will be an entrance point for the planned Drake Park/Cesar...
