Simply Bulk Market — Attraction in Longmont

Simply Bulk continues to surprise me with their vast selection of products and amazing prices. The first time I ever went in to browse, I saw that they carry the Lindbergh Sushi rice that I use. Normally at King Soopers, a small bag is $12-$13, so I was pleasantly shocked to see how much lower their price was!! The second time I came in (yesterday) I was looking for Celtic sea salt, ALSO amazing prices!! I was originally going to purchase on Amazon, but I got a WAY better deal for more ounces! THEN I saw that they carry coconut sugar! I was having a party in my brain for how many products they carry that we use at home, so I am definitely going to be shopping here more often! The cherry on top is that they sell a bunch of other Colorado owned brands and products, including honey. My husband LOVES honey, I would go as far to say he is a honey connoisseur. I surprised him with a little jar of (I think) a Boulder based creamed honey and OMG he LOVED IT!!! Finished off the whole jar. I found Simply Bulk maybe about 6 months ago whilst walking down Main Street, and looking back, I have regretted not shopping here sooner/more often. Now that I know more of what they carry, how good the prices are, and how nice the employees are, I don’t have an excuse to have FOMO. So glad Longmont has this amazing shop ❤️ will...

I just had the WORST experience at Simply Bulk Market. I have a condition where I have a service dog. This week I had a procedure for this condition. I was feeling especially terrible, and brought my 10 lb hypoallergenic service dog into the store. Three of the workers at the store came over to me and verbally attacked me for having my service dog with me, and then proceeded to tell me to leave. I explained my condition, and that I also have documentation for her. How they treated me is not only the exact definition of ableism but also completely illegal. If you are ever in this situation, legally the only thing that stores can do is to ask if the dog is a service dog, and then ask what condition the service dog is helping with. They then proceeded to tell me that my dog was an issue bc she sniffed the floor, and she was disturbing the customers. I then asked the entire store if my dog had disturbed anyone, and everyone’s answer was absolutely not. Be better Simply Bulk Market. There are way bigger problems in the world than my well trained dog. I hope you never treat any other...

I wish I could give them ZERO stars for the gross display of ableism and frankly non-law abiding behavior I was unfortunate to witness today. A woman came in with her service dog and I along with many others witnessed the staff and management tell her she couldn’t have a service dog in their store. When she challenged the staff attempting to educate them on the fact they were breaking the law the staff changed tactics saying that the dog sniffing the floor was disturbing the rest of us. This brave woman literally asked us if her small dog was being a nuisance to which we all answered, no. SHAME ON YOU SIMPLY BULK MARKET. SHAME ON YOU. I hope she takes her case a step further for you deserve to be reprimanded and fined for discrimination. I will never set foot in your establishment again.
