My boyfriend surprised me with an escape room for my 25th birthday. We were super excited to play Ghost Ship. We came in and one of the game masters said the cameras were broken and if we wanted to play she wouldn’t be able to give us hints so we would most likely have to switch games. We were sad but we’re not one to complain, I mean things happen. I used to work at an escape room myself and it was extremely stressful when things break, I get it, however i don’t think they once apologized for the inconvenience.
We ended up playing Alice in Wonderland instead which the room itself was cute. My boyfriend and I have done escape rooms with a group of our friends a lot but have barely done some with just us two so we were struggling but trying our best to have fun. Most of the clues given weren’t really clues and were mostly just “here do this.”. My bf asked a question on a puzzle and the game master goes “are you taking to me? Raise your hands then” kind of rudely and condescending too and when we had 10 minutes left and on the last puzzle they just outright just told us what to do without us asking for a hint. In my opinion the room was fine, but the game masters weren’t what I was used to. I felt bad that my boyfriend surprised me with this but we had such a lackluster...
Read moreI have done all the rooms at this location, and every single one has been impressive. There are other 60Out locations, but I can’t say that I loved every escape room at the others in the way that I have experienced the escape rooms at this location.
I highly recommend that you come and enjoy these rooms in larger groups — much more fun!
The most enjoyable rooms at this location (in my opinion) are:
Slightly scary: Dracula (graveyard and darkness) and Ghost Ship (remember this one the least…it was spooky lol)
They also have virtual reality rooms too if you’re interested. We did the Alice in Wonderland VR (different from the Alice in Wonderland room), and it was lovely but not my favorite (technology learning curve).
Shoutout to Zack for being a great host/game master for our last room, Mafia, which was well decorated and very easy — a great room for first-time escape room adventurers 😊
Overall, fantastic location — definitely worth it if you’re looking for ways to team-build with friends (or co-workers, I...
Read moreI can’t say enough about this place. My daughter has asked for an escape room party for months. In December, I reached out to book it but never finalized. Then a week later, our worlds turned upside down due to the Palisades Fire. All of our friends, our community, everyone was gone and scattered and mourning. By week 3, I realized that her bday was imminently approaching and a great opportunity to reunite all of us for the first time. Westly was amazing - so understanding and accommodating allowing this late notice booking. Everyone came together - girls in 3 escape rooms having the time of their lives while the Moms who have been family for years, finally an opportunity to be together again and finally talk and catch up and a breath. This party was a joy for everyone - it was so needed and we have 60 Out to thank for it. The party room was perfect and the rooms played such a crucial role in helping these girls to “escape” the trauma they’ve had and how much they miss each other. Forever in my heart 60 Out - can’t...
