I must share with the world My HAPPY ICE experience. There was a group of young kids with a colorful idea that left a smile every time I looked for a fault. The truck itself sparked My brain and made Me walk over to find out what was going on. When I reached the side of the truck serving counter, All I saw were people (multicultural) eating heaps of something colorful from these spoons that turned colors. My brain is on overdrive with curiosity now, as I start to approach the line, Iām listening at peoples conversations about what they are eating. Fruity, tasty, refreshing, cool weāre just some of the comments I heard. Iām sold now, Iām in line! By the way the wait wasnāt to long because this young guy approached Me with a HAPPY ICE shirt and said HI with a big grin. He said 1st time trying Happy Ice, I respond yes. Well, I got a free sample. 2 words, Iām Hooked ;)))). Hey I enjoyed the sample so much I brought a medium water ice as HAPPY ICE calls it and a warm pepperoni cheese pretzel. The pretzel was a Out-of-the-world, 1 of a kind type snack. Iāve never imagined anything of the sort, Puzza pretzel, HAPPYICE calls it. Hey, this was such a treat, staff was inviting, everybody in the area eating HAPPY ICE actually looked Happy. This was a win win experience!! Oh! If your wondering, YES IāVE been back quite often, I even know the owners name. SO, Go experience the HAPPY ICE Movement, go Support this young entrepreneur, PEACE, LOVE & HAPPYICE. Oh, donāt forget to take your pic on the HAPPYICE truck...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've heard of Happy Ice before but didn't get motivated to try them until I saw the show The Black Ink Crew. Lemeir Mitchell is the founder and CEO of Happy Ice, a Philly water ice treat.
After I saw him on the show and his business, I immediately went to the website to check out locations. While online, I noticed that they offer catering. My daughter's birthday was coming up and we always like to bring a special treat to her classmates. I decided to go ahead and book them. They offer different catering options. The easiest for me was the cooler. I got the $215 cooler which included 30 servings. You can add more servings if need be. Communication was great between Jordan and me. She was very prompt when responding to my emails and was patient with me when making last-minute changes. As we got closer to the date of pick-up, my daughter and I decided to head over to try it. Yes, we should've tried it before we booked them but I knew we would like it. Coincidentally, during our visit, Jordan was there! She is even nicer in person! She helped us and she made me feel confident in my catering decision. And of course, we loved it!
On the day of pick-up, everything went perfectly! I got there on time and the order was ready! They helped me load the cooler in my car and they included color-changing spoons! When I arrived at my daughter's school, the ice was still perfect and not even close to melting. All of her classmates loved it and enjoyed it!
Thank you Happy Ice and especially Jordan for an...

I actually got happy ice from their truck just now on Sepulveda in Van Nuys near Petco. I was about to walk away because it didn't have the toppings I pictured wanting. I also wasn't that excited about any of the flavors. The salesgirl was so nice that I felt guilty and got a small... I was so wrong..first off, I got the rainbow flavor (all of them).
The texture was unlike (in a Better way) any shaved ice place I've ever had. It was almost the texture of ice cream! The way the flavors were stripes-- all separated-- but you could eat an individual color and it was that flavor-- allowed me to taste each flavor and they were ALL good, even the lemon. NO TOPPING NEEDED. I could go on... but I'm afraid you won't read it and you must! To all skeptics- just try it, you'll be more than pleasantly surprised. I'm not a natural reviewer--- but the whole package was such a good experience I was compelled to.
Awesome touch with the color...
