We went to Activate Culver City with a group of nine, and quickly learned that each room can only fit five people max. No problem—we just split into two groups and it worked out fine.

Each game only lasts a few minutes, and then you move on to choose another one. The pacing was great—we never waited more than three minutes for the next game. It kept the energy up and everyone in our group (a mix of adults and kids) had a blast.

Our favorites were the Mega Grid and the Lasers—definitely try the different variations since there are quite a few. Some of the games were a little confusing at first, so it would’ve been helpful to have a short video explanation. But once we got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing.

I love this place, it integrates gaming into active play. Definitely feels worth the money, we got in on their promo day so we got to play an hr for free. Your time only goes down while you are in an active game. So an hr time was actually about 1.5 time in game play. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. There are at least 8-10 game rooms with multiple ways to play, with multiple levels to each way. Its giving endless possibilities 👌🏾. Went in not knowing what to expect.
