Shockingly superb! Writing this immediately after stay so I don’t forget anything. Really excellent LAX based hotel. 20mins to / from airport. Clean. Restaurant and bar. Meeting space; I was there solo and for a mtg. Across the street from Westfield Mall - super convenient. But they also have a small in-hotel 24/7 teeny weeny convenient store too. ||||Pluses!…filtered lemon’ed water in lobby at all times. Excellent coffee with all the fixings in lobby 6-10a. Mouthwash in room! Woohoo for mouthwash!! Adorable decor - old timey black & white entertainment industry pics that are wonderful. Clean! And a superb cleaning staff. All staff are accommodating and so friendly. ||||More pluses: Loved the 24/7 gym!!!; EXCELLENT! Beds sheets comforter and pillows SUPER comfie! Each room has great TV, frig AND microwave as well as blow dryer, iron w board, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, long mirror, heavily shaded windows (easy to open or close depending on your light in, or not, pref.) Rooms nicely decorated too. Also I love that there is BOTH a bathtub and shower! Of course stocked too w plenty of Kleenex & TP. Lots of lights and a working desk too. In room trash cans with recycling section too. ||||Easy access to stairs (if you wanna get in steps) or elevators. Room keys that actually work for your ENTIRE stay EVEN on last day! Ample paid parking if you need it and or have guests coming. Swimming (outdoor) pool!!!!!! Clean common area bathrooms. 8 floors; I stayed top floor and loved the quiet. ||||Coupla little nitpicks: I guess because of the shampoo gel lotion conditioner products they use - when you walk in - it smells a bit like a gaggle of guys in a disco (or brothel) who over-cologned. The smell is super strong. ||||My other little ehhhh is that there is no place in hotel for lunch unless you buy a microwave item from the small in-hotel convenience store. (They have egg Sammie’s, mac & cheese, ramen, jerky, candy, wine & beer + soft drinks, (also supplies you may have forgotten), ice cream, pizza, etc - items you can heat up there or in room.) I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t get a real lunch at hotel. ||||Overall I loved my stay and was very surprised just how much I did! Also very close / Uber-able to downtown Culver City, where there are oodles of cute restaurants and bars - cool downtown...

I am appalled that on the day before my grandfather’s funeral , when we show up EARLY to check in for the reservation, the management could be so horrible. We arrived at 2pm from San Diego right before Fourth of July, had everything with us and paid for, and the front desk said our suite was not ready, fair. I asked them to call me when it was ready, they did at 3 pm when I was already in the Valley.
We come back from the funeral planning at 9pm. The front desk manager, Alex I believe is his name, told us our room was ready, the sofa bed for the suite was laid out and prepared with sheets, and we went upstairs.
You can look at the picture and description to see what we found. Now I don’t even know if any part of the beds have been cleaned nonetheless if it is COVID safe! I call to the front desk, and was told that someone would come up to fix it immediately.
30 minutes go by, and no one comes, no one calls. I go downstairs instead of my grieving father. Apparently the cleaning staff have already gone home, not that I would know since no one called me. I am told that not only can we not be compensated for our money EVEN WHEN we offer to make our own bed, they will have to move us to rooms not next to each other only due to a 3rd party reservation. We were offered breakfast vouchers (oh yea, no free breakfast either for a $350+ room, real classy).
Now my father and mother have to come down, exhausted and already unpacked. The front desk manager said he can check with the third party, no promises the same offer. Says he did not know about the room not being ready (switching shifts), and can only offer what he did before.
I hope that by the time I wake up and am ready for my grandfather’s funeral and memorial reception (WHICH WE ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE AT THIS SAME HOTEL TOMORROW) this has been fixed. I am lucky enough to be vaccinated to feel safe in this room, but I am furious that at 9pm my grieving father and I have to deal with such insulting unprofessionalism that comes not just from the front desk this evening, but earlier today. And to be expected to pay for an expensive room, with no view, no comped parking, no comped breakfast UNTIL issues arrive.
I would not suggest staying at this hotel under...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I REPEAT, IF YOU VALUE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PEACE OF MIND, DO NOT STAY HERE!! Read the other reviews that discuss the poor customer service and BELIEVE THEM. This is the mosy disrespectful bunch I've ever encountered. The condensed version of this story is that we arrived, checked in, swiped our credit card and received our room keys. My husband unloaded several bags from the car and we prepared to go to our room. We would have approximately 45 minutes to get dressed for an event we were attending that evening. The hotel clerk flagged us down and told us that we would not be able to enter the room because there was a leak over the bed. They then told us that they canceled our reservation altogether. They refused to provide another room because they oversold the hotel. We literally watched them check-in several guests who arrived after us. We explained that we were not locals. We needed to get dressed for an event that we paid $250 for. They literally said that we should go online and find somewhere else to stay. "The Manager " in an attempt to insult me told me to call Expedia. I explained that I booked direct. I am an Elite member that averages 25 nights per year. This year alone, I've already stayed 10 nights in this hotel. The customer service has always been substandard, but I never complained because the location is convenient and close to family and friends. The manager refused to provide confirmation of the cancelation even though they swiped my card. I discover the next day that these clowns actually charged me for a room that I never stepped foot into. I literally had to call the corporate office to plead my case for a refund. 3 days later and the funds still haven't been returned. The sales manager was extremely unprofessional. She looked like she had just rolled out of bed. I've stayed in several Marriott properties nationwide and let me tell you, this crew did not represent the brand. I am removing our corporate accounts and going back to Hyatt. Enough is enough! These "people " actually blacklisted me from the hotel. My pleasure. I have no plans of returning. Oh and we never made it to our event. Thank you Four Points in Culver City! It's a shame because I...
