Worst airline ever! 1st flight was delayed so bad we had to be completely rescheduled which made me miss a paid appearance in which I was fined 5k for. Of course american airlines or their agents didnt care! The agents are very uneducated and disrespectful. Then on my returning flight we weren't able to check in online and waiting in line made us late for check in...we were told we had to come back for a 6am flight only to get to the airport at 4 am to find out the new flight was delayed and then after waiting 2 hours...when trying to board we found out our entire trip was canceled and now had to wait another 3 HOURS for the next flight! We werent even offered any type of credit or at least a seat upgrade...meanwhile another couple on our 1st flight were upgraded to 1st class for their inconvenience...they were also white so I guess thats the american way! I WILL NEVER FLY WITH THIS TRASH AIRLINE AGAIN! This airline does not respect black ppl.

UPDATE: Currently at a layover and they've notified us that our seats are not only separated but also middle seats anf I originally paid to select my seats! AGAIN AMERICAN AIRLINES IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST AIRLINE EVER! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME BOOKING WITH UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH CANCELED AND LATE FLUGHTS WITH NO NOTIFICATION...IF YOU'RE BLACK THEY WILL CHANGE YOUR SEATS TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE AS UNCOMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE AND IN THE VERY BACK OF THE PLANE ANF SEPARATED FROM YOUR LIVE ONES! NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL FLY WITH THEM. THIS IS THE 3RD AIRPORT... EVERYONE OF THEM HAVE TRASH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ARE UNORGANIZED AT...

Hello, the employee that was calling out group numbers was incredibly rude and unprofessional to another customer and her father who is disabled and on oxygen. My biggest complaint is that the Hispanic older female employee who came afterwards to help during boarding instead of professionally and amicably informing us that we were in the incorrect line with multiple other people behind us, she insisted to talk rudely to me and my husband. I’m very quiet and calm but she was so rude to the point to where I felt threatened. I looked at my husband and she stated very loudly that I was rolling my eyes and was being very angry and the male employee didn’t even dare to step in. she had us check in our carry on bags but now I’m afraid that they’ll disappear. I just came back from a funeral to have to deal with employees like this! This is very upsetting and I want to elevate this. I never complain about airlines but I’m very upset over this. She was rude to ALL of us instead of being polite and just professional. I didn’t yell or anything so she had no reason to treat me in such a way. Me and my husband are both medical professionals and even on our worse days we’d never dare talk to others in...

Check in at American airlines in Atlanta was pretty bad....the app wouldn't work on my phone so I waited in line to check in at the front....I told the girl it wouldn't work so she sent me back to the self check in kiosk...I got it to work, printed out my boarding pass and baggage tag and got BACK in line....while I was in line the same woman who wouldn't help me at the front but just sent me to the kiosk had now left her post at the front leaving only one guy doing baggage drop off and went ahead to help 2 others...then I get to the front again and apparently both my boarding passes hadn't printed, only the first leg and the guy sent me BACK AGAIN to the kiosk and refused to help me after I had asked him to help me....I reprinted my boarding pass and it printed both out this time. Overall the staff just didn't care to be helpful at all or even friendly at least. I FULLY understand everyone in customer service is warn out and understaffed right now, as I'm in the same world of customer service, but at least they can try to be friendly if they're not going...

American Airlines is terrific for booking, flying to and from your destination... but as far as helping and assisting your Family to carry their possessions back home... thats another story. American Airlines had given me a voucher to help assist my Daughter and Grandson back to their trip home, to be informed, by the time I was at the gate terminal, that I could NOT help my two loves, with any of their baggage nor baby necessities... they (AA) instisted that my Daughter carry her carry on, her baby diaper backpack, my Grandson, his car seat, (which is heavy in weight) his stroller... and her overhead bag... all by herself.. with no help, from anyone, what-so-ever????? Unbelievable... other than that...all was fine... I still ask myself, "Why give me a pass voucher, to assist, if in reality... I couldn't"??? Thank you anyways.

A cozy terminal in LAX. A variety of little shops abutt the 50 something gates in this centrally located area. The floors are relatively clean and the bathrooms well stocked. Biggest issue with terminal 5 is gate 52. Gate 52 is comprised of gates "a" thru "i", and only gates a and b are actually in terminal 5. The other letters will require you to board a bus (the exit to this bus is next to 52a) to be transported to another building. If you read my review of terminal 2, then just know that this is a somewhat larger main hall with more side areas where you can escape the crowds. I still wouldn't recommend flying thru LAX unless you have no other choice as it is overcrowded and overpriced. Nothing a strong cologne and a bologna sandwich can't cure though...

Living is being upgraded to Business or 1st Class on a lovely 767 on a flight ✈️ from LAX to JFK Airport. You truly haven’t lived until you have tried both classes of service. The small jet I snapped these photos is of my favorite AA Jet with the jets that could. I love Lear Jets. Just pack light for this excursion but having only coach kind of shuts up the arrogant elites who I must confess to being a Platinum Elite Member. Nothing wrong with being an elite member. Just leave your arrogance behind on my favorite small Jet Airplane ✈️. The LAX to Heathrow flight is a sheer delight. Fly AA. I would give them 100 💯 if I could. Thanks for over 35 years of good service. ✈️ Fly like an Eagle on American Airlines!
