Absolute terrible experience. I have always entered as service member in civilian clothing. I fly AA because of the courtesy entrance to service members. Well, today I was denied because I wasn’t in uniform, in which 99% of service member’s aren’t do to the current climate. It is constantly reinforced for service members NOT to travel in uniform due to OPSEC. I was informed this was “ALWAYS” the policy by the Admirals Club manager Albert. I have been traveling with AA for 10+ years as a service member and have never been denied access, so this is a huge shock. I tried explaining to Albert that traveling in uniform isn’t permitted and referenced Policy Letter 29 that explicitly outlines that but that explanation was not good enough. The best part about this place was meeting a lovely lady named ANNA. She approached me and we had a great conversation together! Way different than some of the people I've met along my journey.
