RUN, DON'T WALK, AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! Incompetent, shady, and possibly fraudulent business practices. Let me explain. On 2/27/25, I bought a 2024 Macan S from this dealership, paying by check. They cashed it on 3/3/25. I picked up the car on 3/12/25, which came with temporary plates expiring on 6/8/25. By 5/28/25, I still hadnāt received the permanent plates, title, or registration. I reached out to the sales agent, who reassured me Iād get something soon. I followed up with the finance director on 6/2/25, who promised to call back but never did. A call to the DMV confirmed the issue was with the dealership.
I called again on 6/6/25 and was told the temporary registration was valid through 8/8/25, so I let it slide. At that point, I had bigger issues at homeāmy husband was under hospice care and passed away on 6/5/25.
By 7/16/25, I still had no title or registration. I contacted the finance manager again, who didnāt know the problem and suggested I speak with the sales manager (SM). SM promised to look into it and get back to me, but after two weeks with no update, I called again on 7/29/25. SM admitted he had emailed the business office two weeks prior but hadnāt followed up. He promised to escalate the issue.
On 8/4/25, I received an email from SM explaining that the delay was due to a problem with Porscheās title processing. He promised an update by 8/5/25, but I heard nothing. I escalated the matter, sending a letter to the owner and GM, demanding a resolution within 14 days or I would take legal action. Again, no response.
On 8/8/25, the day my temporary registration expired, I called SM again, who revealed two shocking details: the dealership had submitted an incorrect odometer statement, delaying the registration process for five months, and they hadnāt paid off the car until the end of June, despite cashing my check in March. I asked for a loaner car, but SM refused, saying none were available. At this point, my daughter posted a review about the dealershipās poor service. Within minutes, the dealership responded with a generic apology, and shortly after, SM called me offering a used sales car as a loaner. The next day, they delivered the loaner to me.
Three weeks later, on 9/2/25, the dealership finally resolved the issue, returning my car with plates, title, registration, a full tank of gas, and a detail.
This should have never happened. Iāve been trying to resolve this issue since May, but no one at the dealership took it seriously until my temporary registration expired. I had to push them for months while also dealing with the death of my husband. It was hurtful and frustrating to be met with such incompetence and indifference, especially given what I was going through.
To add insult to injury, I still havenāt heard from the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI purchased a 2023 Porsche Taycan from South Orlando Porsche, and from the moment I drove it off the lot, it has been one of the most frustrating ownership experiences Iāve ever hadāwith any brand, luxury or otherwise.
First, the carās central screens would randomly go completely black. While the car technically still drove, I had no access to controls, data, or navigation. I brought it in immediately. They kept it for days, only to tell me they couldnāt find the issueāand then asked if their service tech could drive my car home for the weekend to āsee if the screens would go black again.ā I asked if Porsche would take full responsibility in the event of an accident. No response. Just told me to come get the car. It was returned to me dirtyāinside and out. No basic courtesy.
I then took it to Orlando Porsche, who at least correctly diagnosed the issue as a faulty central computer. They replaced itābut that didnāt fix the cameras, which would also randomly fail. After multiple appointments, they finally figured out the issue and ordered new cameras. But once I moved back to LA, South Orlando Porsche stopped returning calls and texts. They never coordinated the follow-up work with Beverly Hills Porsche like they said they would.
When I dropped off the Taycan at Beverly Hills Porsche, after scheduling the appointment through the Porsche app, they had no idea why I was thereāthe app doesnāt even sync with their system. I explained everything and emphasized the awful experience Iād had so far. The first thing I was told? My car with 5,800 miles āneeded new tires.ā When I asked how thatās possible, they told me the Taycan āeats tires because of the torque.ā The tire insurance I was sold didnāt cover this, of course.
But worse than that? Beverly Hills Porsche had my car for a monthāwithout a single call or text update. I called ten times with no callback. I sent messages. Nothing. I had to physically drive there to find out what was happening. And when I arrived, there was no apology. No accountability.
This company makes beautiful carsābut backs them up with horrific quality control and abysmal customer service. Iāve never had to bring a brand new car in this many times. Porsche has completely lost my trustāand I strongly recommend anyone considering a Taycan or any Porsche think twice. There are plenty of other luxury brands with equal performance and far superior service and reliability.
And after one week of having my car back, after Porsche had it for an entire month and supposedly fixed all the cameras with new ones, the cameras are still blacking out.
DO NOT EVER...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe experience here was the worst Iāve ever had with buying a car not to mention they almost STOLE my trade in equity money of $6k.
I expected that Porsche being a high end brand that there is a level of customer service provided. From the very beginning of the sales experience I knew I should have just went with a different salesperson. Carlos Maldonaldo who helped me with my purchase was terrible. I went in looking at a used 2003 996 C4S which was in great condition and priced very competitively. But throughout the experience Carlos lacked any knowledge of the car and constantly have to ask other salespeople for details on the car. He was extremely pushy once I decided to move forward with the purchase rushing me during my work hours for things that I needed to provide to move forward with my purchase even though he could have asked for it after I got off work since the dealer is opened till 7pm way after my work hours. What Carlos did after the purchase of my car really showed his lack of customer service experience. I asked multiple times before and after the purchase for him to provide any service records. When he didnāt, I ended up having my husband call. I do admit my husbandās tone at this point was not very friendly but instead of deescalating the situation Carlos chose to hang up on us. Donāt ask for him if you buy a car here.
3 months after the purchase I realized I was still waiting on my $6k equity check from my trade in of my Supra. When I finally got the check, I thought it was odd that the check was issued by the dealer and not Toyota financial services. Carlos told me I should be expecting it from Toyota. Not only was the check dated few weeks after my purchase it took them 3 whole months to then send it to me. Why were they holding my $6k for that long? It left me with a month to cash it. Upon further review of my sales contract, I noticed they never entered the correct amount they paid for my trade. How can a any reputable dealership mess up on a LEGAL binding sales contract? That goes to show they are extremely shady in their business practices or theyāre just incompetent at filling out legal documents. I urge you guys to AVOID this dealership unless you want some incompetent people to handle...
