Cali Claw Arcade — Attraction in Los Angeles

Outstanding!

My 9 year old daughter & I love claw machines. We've been to more than a few arcades with them, across the US & in Japan. Some machines require a bit of skill, whereas others are more or less purely pay-to-play. No matter how good you are, you aren't getting a prize until the machine has collected a certain amount of money. That's easy to understand if you're an adult, but not great if you're a kid.

There's lots of things to love about Cali Claw Arcade. First, none of machines felt like they were pay-to-play. Each time we felt like we had a real shot at getting the stuff animal prize.

But -- and this is where Cali Claw Arcade really shines -- is the customer service. The staff are EXTREMELY helpful. They would give us advice & if needed, "fluff" the machine to move things around & make it a bit easier.

It was clear they wanted everyone to leave happy & feel like they had a good experience.

We left with a BAG of stuff animals. My 9yo was trilled.

It did make me wonder if they'd still in business, but I realized the cost-per-game is a bit more expensive than what I saw elsewhere. But those cheaper places often felt more like a scam (i.e. you'd never win). So I'd gladly pay a bit more for a fair chance -- and I'm pretty sure we ended up with a LOT more prizes.

I can’t say enough good about this place. My daughter really wanted to come here and truth be told I always have felt like playing claw machines is throwing money away but not here. Loli was incredibly gracious to us. My daughter had a hard time grabbing prizes (I mean a really hard time). Loli helped her with technique, even rearranged the plushies to make them easier to grab. She had more patience than I had. I felt inspired enough to get my own card to play. Put $20 on mine and won 3 plushies. My poor girl was determined to get the cat cookie but after 15+ attempts Loli was so kind and just gave it to her. The mall feels like it’s on its last leg but truly I’d go back just to visit this business again. Please support this small business. I rarely leave reviews but this was such a memorable positive...

Don't really review much but after the experience I just had, I had to. Me and my kids love to play any claw machine we see. We were in the area and having heard of Cali Claw I had to stop by and check it out with them. When they say "we want you to win" they mean it. The owner is just the sweetest. My 3 and 7 year old walked out each with a bag full of cool plushies. Cali Claw is not your typical greedy arcade and I can guarantee your little ones will have a blast and will walk out winners. That being said if you are a genuine claw player this might not be much of a challenge for you. Will definitely be making another trip here...
