I never thought I would have experience a wonderful place like this before. This Chinatown is interesting but although it's kind of lonely. Even in Los Angeles, the streets are filthy but it's not too filthy if you went around the dilapidated areas. And I was fascinated that there is a temple. But I didn't get to see the inside of it, but I knew how beautiful it was, especially at the entrance where there are two dragons. I came from Las Vegas, Nevada by the way. We have our own Chinatown on Spring Mountain Road. I highly recommend visiting this place if your traveling to Los Angeles.

This place was totally wasted our time and nothing to see. It’s dying and no visitors?? Most shops, restaurants out of business and taken over by homeless. Very sad and shameful this used to one of the best sightseeing spot.

This review is coming from someone from the SF Bay Area and SF and LA Chinatowns are very different, but that said LA Chinatown is a wonderful place with so much charm and history and great shops and restaurants
