It's a whole in the wall burger joint in a plaza. There's some seating inside, but more outside. I ordered their special DH (dry aged) truffle burger. It's a huge patty. The buns soft and warm. The patty was Crispy on the outside and very juicy on the inside. It was a good burger, if your looking for just a big beef burger. If your looking for a traditional all American burger, you know, lettuce, tomatoe,pickles, onions, etc, this is not that burger. The meat was very flavorful, and did I mention juicy. So I finished my burger and did not feel overly full or heavy. It was good quality meat. It is a pricy burger at $27. I would say it's something to buy as a group and everyone try, but I most like wouldn't be shelling out $27 for another burger from here. I would try other things. They have smash burger options, etc. The frys are loaded. They give you a lot. We sadly wasted a bunch of frys cuz we ordered to many. They have a in-n-out animal style frys, and one with garlic aoli. But one order of frys should be enough to share for 2 or more people. I would recommend this spot if your looking for a good meaty, juicy, flavorful, burger. Just be ready to shell out some cash. Is it worth it? I'd let you decide that, I already said my peice. Amboy Quality Meats & Delicious Burgers is almost always on top burger lists for LA, and I knew I had to try it. My only regret is waiting as long as I did for my first Amboy burger. I had known about them for years but just stopped by for the first time.

The burger is outstanding. LA is spoiled with top-tier burger spots all over the city, and Amboy deserves the accolades. The burger was beefy, expertly cooked, and had solid, flavor enhancing toppings. The cheese melt on my burger was perfect. I went with a classic smash burger, but so many of the burger options looked awesome.

For fries, I had to try the beef up. The fries are crispy and cooked well. And at Amboy, you can ask them to toss a broken up burger patty. Genius, but maybe not great for my cholesterol.

Amboy's original location, which is where I went, is neighbors with Howlin Rays and some other top-notch spots. I don't know if there is parking. I always drive around until I get a street parking spot. They have a lovely patio seating...
