Okay I'm attending all three days of kcon. On day one I went to just the main stage event and on day two I did a little bit of the con and the main stage event and I don't know if the security for the con and the security for the main stage event are the same but they're not nice. A lot of what they were asking people to do was pretty impractical and most of what made it frustrating was just poor communication. We parked in the west lot for $32 and entered towards the building following signs that said entrance from the area where the handicap parking is. When we reached the entrance it was gated off and they made us walk a half a block in the sun in a giant circle around their property along Figueroa and Pico to get back to the front door. So I paid extra to park close and then got to do a lap in the August sun so that I come in to try beauty products when I'm now sweating like a pig. You cannot make the argument for me that this was designed for a more peak moment in the entry into the event because you can make a line twist around and there was so much empty space. They had cordoned off a giant waste of guardrails, time and comfort. Then, as the festival event is ending and we all have these beauty products on our hands, we go to the restrooms on the festival floor to try to wash our hands, but there's a really bossy gal shutting down the restrooms minutes before the event ends. I even said to her look I just want to wash my hands and she said no and is directing everyone to the next lobby. So then we go to the next lobby past the multiple restrooms on the floor that she is now locked people out of, and of course there is a huge line. We're in this line for less than 5 minutes before another bunch of bossy security guards tried to tell people they have to leave the line. Just no. Instead we moved the line into the restroom. Good work guys. This was not productive. This was just bossy people in security t-shirts flexing on customers. Please train security staff to de-escalate and organize as opposed to just bullying people without practicality. These were K-pop crowds. They are the nicest crowds you are ever going to get in any venue. Next on to the arena. I paid $9 plus tip so $12 for a Diet Coke and they wouldn't let me keep the cup. Boooo. Also whoever is mixing this show is not worth their salt and in a venue the size that's just shameful. If that audio engineer is hired by kcon, the arena should have someone assisting them to prevent the arena from looking this bad . The concerts have had some major flow issues that has been making it hard to get the audience hyped but another huge factor here is that they are pumping the mics so hot that you can't make out any of the lyrics. People probably know the lyrics for maybe one or two of the acts each, but this is where you see new to you acts. You need to be able to tell what they're saying (in two languages )and you can't because the mics too hot and the crowd is not going off because they're confused. Literally people are asking each other what was the name of this band for the first few numbers each night are because it isn't on the jumbotron. We needed subtitles for the content that's in our first language because the audio is so mushy maxing the system. Also, they leave up all of the mics at that same level when these kids are giving speeches between numbers and they are panting. By the second night they're all trying not to breathe. They also did one girl super dirty by not coming out to assist her when her mic was not working during her speach between numbers and then immediately after her group is into a number where she's singing and now everybody knows she's lip singing cuz we know her mic isn't working at all. These performers are working really hard to get new fans and the venue not so much. Also, they don't accept cash at concessions so I saw more than one person place an order and then be turned away because they weren't warned beforehand. And they were better off because I paid $12 including tip for a soda and they wouldn't let me...

So been to The Great Western Forum and Staples several times. It’s an easy 10 from a 1 through 5 scale a long time ago, however, times have changed since they change to Crypto.
Remember the long time getting out of the parking lot The bad interactions with labor expenses The many workers just standing around. The annoying security guards. The lost time to get there and time to get drinks and food.
Is also watching the mostly male cashiers turn to almost all females. This is at the Team LA store and more. It didn't bother us however what really angered us is that when we ask them a beginner's expert question their answer is, "whatever is out there is all we have". Its sweeping generalization and lazy. I actually have to find a guy and asked that we wanted a Licensed NBA Properties, Inc. Lakers banner showing all the NBA championships' years. The guy actually went into the stock room and found it. He knew exactly what the Laker product that was requested. Most of the these ladies are just scan the barcode and go types as if their family, friends and/or lovers hire them based on looks vs. real Lakers licensed products expertise. If anything they are inferior human capital and are underqualified to sell these NBA Lakers and Clippers licensed products to the fan base.
Also, many of these female workers do not know the Staples/Crypto seats really well. We requested edge seats and they made a mistake. Specific row and quadrants need special expertise and the box office payroll failed. Yes, AXS and Ticketmaster is easy to book but if you go here often then you might want to cut the junk fees. Personally, I do not know why they are charging extra processing fees when they are eliminating multiple human labor expenses. It labor expenses to pay the box office clerk, janitors, and IT for installing and maintenance. So why are they charging eproceesing fees.
Yes I own Meta Quest 3 with Xstadium and NBA league pass, love both the Lakers, Clippers, and the NBA but is just too much to interact with these payrolls at the brink n' mortar site.
Even some 4k HDR+ TV will suffice but then again small somewhat private bars is just more efficient and less stress if you want to hangout the LA fans.
But The Great Western Forum and Staples were world-class for decades. I would say at least visit this place at least once but adjust accordingly.
For us watching court-side virtually thru Xstadium is hard to beat knowing the cons of being there in person and the total time lost and costs. The straw that broke the camels back’ was also integrating K-pop. The Los Angeles Lakers and/ or Clippers brand and audience is much bigger and more global going back to 1949. We are talking world-class Olympic gold winners too. We didn’t attend Staples/Crypto to hear and look at K-pop stars, while looking at the world championships banners and their jerseys.
These Crypto employees are bad for business! Don’t really like to generalize but the crowd that attend K-pop vs. the Lakers are usually polar opposites. Yes maybe there are some that attend both, but the majority are usually polar opposites. Just saying. I don’t think these new employees know how to measure lost sales...

I usually don't enjoy basketball games but this game was intense i was really into it when there are close games like this through the whole match that makes going to a game in person so much better. I also got to meet the mascot...he's a quite one but most mascots seem to be either mute or to shy to say anything.. guess i could relate to the dog. Kudos to the sparks even though Lady half minute the apposing team broke the tie and won the game with seconds to spare. I would defently go again inside the arena great experience getting into the arena.....read on.
The only reason i rated two stars is because despite the Americans with Disabilities Act the front security actually questioned my having to use my walking staff for medical reasons, and literally gave me no choice with major embarrassment because i am lack of conscious self esteem to have to take off my left shoe which is painful to do BTW just to reveal a 95% burned granted foot where i have one complete amputation of little toe and the two next to that is partially amputated. I was completely embarrassed that Arena was filling fast guests were looking like omg the security made him do that.
Then after putting on my shoe which is even more painful the security gaurd says we will need to talk to the head of security. After pressing that i know my rights with ADA law the main security gaurd as well demanded i show him my foot and wondering why i needed a walking stick considering my age. I told him i was a burn survivor its obvious in missing multiple fingers and grafts all over my body.... reluctantly i took the shoe off once again in more agany and embarrassment after diplomatic training and comen sense towards the end the head security gave me the green light. To...
