On Thursday July 25th, 2024 at 9am I arrived at LAX on delta. We needed to figure out if our third would be able to make it on our flight to Hawaii. I made my way to the help desk for delta only to find nobody there at all to help, 3 other customers in need of help including one elderly gentleman seeking a wheelchair or aid to get around, and two machines that did not work to get what we needed. No note saying the employee was on break, nothing to tell us that at gate 20 was ANOTHER help desk. So I decided to head to the sky club to figure out some help in our situation. There was no help there. Only a French woman with a nasty attitude to someone asking for help. I walked away from that attitude and made my way around the airport looking for a proper delta employee to assist us.

We found gate 20's help desk on our own, entirely with zero help from the sky club of LAX, and got in line there. The two of them stayed at that desk while I went to tell other customers there was another desk. Upon arrival I found one single person helping that desk, who had arrived some half hour after I had initially arrived for aid. Again, not even a note saying where to go or what was going on.

Upon re-arrival to this now easily manageable 2-person line, I called my other travellers and got them in this much shorter line. Our problem was not technically resolved because another delta employee decided to lie to us. That's another issue, but the woman who DID help us (Irma) wanted to give every excuse under the sun including an 8-hour security issue from the '24 cloudstrike fiasco that had happened days prior to nobody being at the help desk, as excuses for why nobody could be present to help. Seriously, that issue was resolved and patched in 8 hours. 24 hours later there shouldnt be a lack of people where they should be. As if that made any sense to begin with. Nobody is there at the security desk next to a restricted area and unsecured flight record computers, in post 9-11 airports, in America, because a delta employee abandoned his post for half an hour. Excuse: software hickup the other day. Nope. Doesn't fly.

So far we'll recap, I left this area to insure our third could make her united airlines flight. She did. Frankly after this I'm not sure I'll fly delta ever again, united airlines was friendly and helpful in getting an elderly woman aid in mobility, unlike delta. I called the customer complaint line for the first time in this journey. There I learned it isn't even official unless you fill out a form with names. So, my second and I headed back to LAX delta to do two things. Get Corrine's name, and make our flight.

Upon arrival to the sky club I walked in, pointed at her and asked her name. She showed me her name tag and I got her name, Corrine, a french-accented woman of probably her mid 50's. And I walked out, or I would have, had another employee not approached and accosted me.

I was then approached by Michael, a Hispanic looking individual, who then became very aggressive and threatening to me after I pointed at her, getting within inches of my own face with his. I was threatened by this individual while trying to get a name for a complaint about a garbage attitude and frankly poor customer service I would expect from a prison guard to an inmate, not an employee to a lost traveler. Instead I got threatened and intimidated by Michael in the LAX Delta Sky Club. Atrocious. The other delta employees allowing it!

So I filled out my complaint WITH the inclusion of Michael from the Delta Sky Club at LAX threatening and intimidating me. I then called the complaint line again to inform them of my issues with being threatened and intimidated in an airport by some piece of garbage. It was this SECOND CALL that I was informed I needed to speak to a manager about these issues, and so went to find one.

Upon finding a manager I was directed to yet ANOTHER manager named Austin, who attempted to help hours after we needed it. I've submitted the neccessary remarks to the neccessary authorities for this...

The Delta Sky Club at Los Angeles Airport is a true oasis of comfort and luxury amidst the bustling travel environment. My recent experience at this lounge left me thoroughly impressed and rejuvenated, and I can confidently say that it deserves every one of its five stars.

From the moment I stepped through the entrance, I was greeted by an atmosphere of relaxation and sophistication. The elegantly designed interiors, plush seating, and soft ambient lighting created a soothing environment that was the perfect antidote to the stresses of travel.

The amenities offered at the Delta Sky Club are nothing short of exceptional. From the well-stocked bar serving a variety of premium beverages to the delectable dining options that cater to various tastes and dietary preferences, every aspect of the culinary experience was thoughtfully curated.

What truly sets the Delta Sky Club apart is the impeccable service provided by the staff. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine warmth added an extra layer of comfort to my visit. From assisting with travel inquiries to ensuring that every guest's needs were met, the staff truly went above and beyond.

The lounge also offers a variety of spaces to suit different preferences, whether you're seeking a quiet corner to work or a cozy area to unwind. The availability of charging stations and high-speed Wi-Fi made it a convenient and productive environment for catching up on work or staying connected.

The panoramic views of the airport runway and the surrounding cityscape were a visual treat, providing a unique perspective on the dynamics of air travel and the vibrant energy of Los Angeles.

In conclusion, the Delta Sky Club at Los Angeles Airport is a haven that embodies comfort, elegance, and world-class service. Whether you're a frequent traveler seeking respite between flights or simply looking to elevate your travel experience, this lounge is an absolute must-visit. It's a sanctuary that rejuvenates the mind, indulges the senses, and reminds you that travel can indeed be a luxurious and pleasurable affair. Kudos to the Delta Sky Club for setting the standard for airport lounges and creating an experience that is truly deserving...

It’s been about a year since this new and improved Delta Sky Club Lounge located in LAX Terminal 3 has been open and enjoyed by many, including me, so I thought I’d share my experience this last trip I just made via Delta. I’ve been an avid loyal Delta flyer so I’ve seen many Delta Lounges all over the world.

I love going to this new and renovated, much bigger Delta Lounge in LAX on terminal 3. With everything going on that stresses you out in going through the airport alone, a little reprieve and relaxation before your flight is very much needed!

This Delta lounge is now on the second level of terminal 3 with very spacious area and lots of choices to choose from to sit. There are 2 full bars available, including the bar by the patio overlooking the delta runway. There are food and drink stations and the food are always changing every time I go visit this lounge. The seats are very comfortable , with cellphone or computer chargers. The bathrooms are very nice, modern and, most importantly, super clean, and there are shower rooms available also but I never need to use them. The food they serve are always good and their bar has lots of drinks and cocktails to offer. Their espresso machine is super good.

I love their decor! My last visit with them this week, I noticed that there were lots of orchids ( my favorite flower) spread all over the Lounge area. How very nice to see fresh orchids in an airport Lounge, like this Delta Sky Club Lounge!

Their staff are always lovely, always offering to help you in any way.

Overall, the Delta Lounge at LAX in Terminal is one of my favorite Delta lounges in the world. You can have access to the Delta Sky Club Lounge by being a Delta Platinum or Higher in Loyalty or you can also present your American Express Platinum Card along with your current flight boarding pass...
