Visited on August 28th, 2024 at 9 pm as our flight had arrived at 8:55 pm and we had a short lay over. When we arrived the bar was full with only one table currently occupied. It took about 5-6 minutes to get seated. When we sat we immediately said we were ready to order and for some reason it took 10 minutes for the waitress to take our order. We ordered the fireman burger medium rare $26.99 and the oh my cod (which is fish and chips) $32.99 and a coke. We kept track of our times because we were supposed to board at 9:55 pm. From there we didn’t get our coke for another 5 minutes and I guess they don’t give water unless you ask because that’s what we had to do. It hit 9:45 pm and our flight was supposed to board at 9:55 and we had ordered at around 9:15. Half an hour later and no food. We didn’t end up getting our food till 9:51. My burger was dry and not medium rare for the $27. The fish and chips were a bit funky tasting. The fish was fishy tasting and the coleslaw smelled and tasted sour with a strange after taste. The fries were not fresh and were cold. I’ve had warmer and better fries from McDonald’s. The server really didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing bringing only one plate or drink at a time to each table I just felt like she could care less from the perspective of a customer. Food was bad, service was bad. There were no redeeming points for this location. And most people would do better to walk a few stores over to grab carls Jr. instead. It’ll cost less and it’ll...

2 stars ONLY for the great food. The service was so bad. If you have more than 3 people and splitting a check. You need to tell them. Our server Ashley G-did not let us know the bill couldn’t be split and we ended up paying 18% gratuity when she did not deserve that amount. She stated that it needed to be done prior to the order being put in because it wouldn’t let her at the end. Then i asked another server about gratuity and they stayed if the bill is over $75 it is automatic. It would not have been that hitch if we split our bill. So it’s SO CONVENIENT that she didn’t ask us to split it. She said it was on us to let her know if it was separate. They should never assume 3 female friends would pay together or if you do. YOU ASK. The food was great but the server will make me never come back. I will be leaving reviews on all social media platforms to let people know that this needs to be fixed. It needs to be stated up front. Either printed or printed, she did not deserve a $15 tip. She never smiled at us. She said about 5 words to us all together. BUT WHY WOULD SHE WORK HARD FOR US? SHES GETTING...

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Karen at the Engine bar in LAX Airport, and I couldn't be more impressed with her service. From the moment I sat down, Karen greeted me with a warm and friendly smile, instantly making me feel welcome.

Her knowledge of the drink menu was exceptional, and she expertly recommended a cocktail that perfectly suited my taste. Each drink she crafted was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing her attention to detail and passion for her craft.

Throughout my time at the bar, Karen was attentive and engaging, ensuring that I had everything I needed while also offering great conversation. Her ability to balance multiple customers while maintaining such a high level of service is truly commendable.

If you find yourself at LAX, I highly recommend stopping by Engine and experiencing Karen's outstanding bartending skills for yourself. She truly elevates the experience and makes it a memorable part of any travel journey.

Thank you, Karen, for your exceptional service—I look forward to...

Worst service on the planet. Table was dirty. Asked for a cleanup and left it worse, spread muck and left it wet. Zero empathy. It's clear that the management cares nothing about the employees here.

I ordered a vanilla latte and breakfast burrito. Total with 18% tip was $38.16. When I opened up the container at the gate there was a hair in the burrito. I walked all the way back and notified them of the hair. She promptly went back to have them make another one. I asked if I could have a latte while I waited again. She was rude and said sure, but I’m going to have to charge you. Wait, a hair, waiting 20 minutes for a tiny burrito? Where’s the customer service? I worked in the food industry. This is horrible service.
