Built Custom Burgers — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Horrible service. We asked for a "LA Way" burger bowl, and when we ordered it asked if we can add some extra veggies. We were told very clearly "oh you do that down the line" which makes perfect sense because it is a build your own burger place. Once down the line the woman starting putting the bowl together and when my wife asked about the veggies she was literally yelled at. Told "No, the menu bowls come as is! We can't add!" The price of the "build your own" with "unlimited toppings" is exactly the same as the "pre-built" options. Are they implying if we went made it HARDER for them and individually ordered all the items to build that bowl it would be totally ok but asking to add cucumber to the pre built is an Impossibility?? I took the time to point out that her cashier had JUST told us that we could add those veggies. She didn't care, practically threw our bag at us. I then had to turn around and go right back because both orders of fries were missing. I would give this place less than one star if I could. I would rather eat coffee grounds from the Starbucks around the corner than have this overly rude staff demean me and my wife for politely asking reasonable questions. I understand that working in an airport and dealing with tired travelers probably becomes stressful but that is NO excuse to treat...

A $45 dollar meal, which consists of two burgers, a fry, and a drink, between my husband and I. Our hopes were high for a burger this expensive. Our expectations were shot down immediately and we literally were disappointed in ourselves. We couldn't believe the size of the burgers and my patties were still pink, the size of the fries which by far were not even great tasting, our drinks were not refillable. I work at a expensive selling burger joint but we don't sell the short end of the stick. We give the customers a good quantity and great quality of food. It was my mistake for not checking the reviews on this place. I agree with the customer service here. It wasn't pleasant at all. Very bad service. Ordered an All American cheeseburger and tots. When picking up my ordered they mentioned that I didn’t order the tots. I said to the manager I paid about $24 and the burger is $17.5. He said that it’s the taxes. I said how much are the taxes. He just replied it’s the taxes. Then I asked for the receipt he showed me an order ticket where there is no tots. I said No I want the receipt with all the details. He went back to the cashier and printed the receipt related to the ticket order. I said this is the wrong receipt, I paid $24 and you are giving me a receipt of $20. I showed him the transaction on my phone and then he printed the right receipt that shows the tots. Cherry on the top; no apologies nothing. Can’t believe such a service still exists.
