My husband and I have been renting a storage unit there for a few months now and I would have to say that I love the service that I have been receiving. I would like to acknowledge one person in particular that always helps me and really brightens up my day, the young lady's name is Dominique. Dominique is always so friendly to me when I come in; it just makes me realize this is why I continue to patronize Extra Storage Space for all of my storage needs and packing supplies.
Given the area I was expecting a rather different type of customer service, but boy oh boy was I shocked. I looked back on my experience in April, when I came into the office to make a payment and to get something out of my unit Dominique when above and beyond the call of duty. On this particular day I wasn’t in the best of moods, but like always Dominique’s smile and enthusiasm made me totally forget about the problems that I had going on, not only was I able to make a payment but I ended up paying a month ahead of time. My mother has been down on her luck lately and moved out of her apartment, she needed a storage space so we moved her belongings here into a 10x20 priced at $224. plus the $9.00 insurance when they were owned by StorQuest. I've been paying the bulk of it to take some of the stress off of her.
As soon as ExtraSpace took over they raised the rent. It was only $10 and my insurance went up $1, so I could look passed that. It's been a few months and starting Jan. 01 2015 they are raising the rent $33 bringing my total to 267.00.
I don't appreciate being nickle and dimed. I've honored my rent commitment, on time, every month with no hassle but I refuse to be screwed over.
I would be more understanding if they raised it at the beginning of a new lease but attempting to slide it in the middle and expect us to take it lying down is despicable.

As I tried to explain the situation ti him he cut me off and explained how he wasn’t there that day. However in no way shape or form did I say he was and simply wanted to explain the situation that happened with his co worked so we can come up with a solution together SINCE HE WASNT THERE. How else is someone is supposed to help you understand what happened without telling you what happened? Make it make sense. It was unprofessional and disrespectful. Then he continues to mention again how he wasn’t there and has a tone. This man sounds like an older gentleman and was completely out of character for how his tone was with me for no reason?...
