IHOP — Restaurant in Los Angeles

We showed up on a Friday it wasn’t as busy as usual and we put my party of 2 down to wait and dine in, we re called and we are given menus we wait 15 minutes and no one comes and even offers to ask us if we were helped or offered anything to drink. The couple after us was already seated and had their drinks and food. We sat right by the front window it was not like we’re were at a corner or outside in the patio. My partner pointed out to me that everyone ignored us and the couple already had their food. I felt really bad since i invited them for breakfast. They said “let’s just go” and we both got up and I walked up to the host and asked what’s going on why are we not getting served and she looked all around and said “umm i don’t know let me see” and at this point i just knew it would take another set of minutes to even be served. We walked out really upset. We won’t be coming back to this location. What a lack of customer service on the part of the team this morning, a lack of communication from the host and most of all IHOP. We expected better from an establishment that has been at this location for years. As a host, she could have said anything like i apologize for the inconvenience we are a little behind or busy or SOMETHING. Management should be more aware of lines of communications their employees are saying. Customer service is a big part of the job the unprofessionalism at this location is...

We had such a fun time at IHOP in Chula Vista! It was the perfect breakfast spot for our family.

The kids had a blast, and honestly, the kids’ menu is one of the best I’ve seen—they just circle what they want, and that’s it! Simple, fun, and it keeps them engaged.

I had the scrambled eggs and sausages, and they were delicious, cooked just right and very satisfying. Even though we went for breakfast, some of the kids went straight for burgers and fries, which they loved.

IHOP gives you full flexibility, eggs your way, vegetarian and even vegan options, which I really appreciated.

The atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful, and we were seated right away with no wait at all.

Our food came out quickly, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The parking lot is huge, which made getting in and out easy, especially with a group.

I visited this location last Thursday. Around 930 am. We where seated promptly. We had to servers wait on my girlfriend and I. I order a simple breakfast combo. To be honest I was there for the all you can eat pan cakes. Well my girlfriend order was fine. When I received my food. I noticed a hair at the edge of my plate. I didn't say anything . But when I got my stack of pan cakes there was another HAIR!!! This time it was cooked in the hot cake. It took a while to get the server to come back to our table. Finally when she returned. I mentioned the hair being in the pancake. She took it back. But she didn't even seem sorry about it. Like if that sorta thing happens often. I had to wait 15 minutes to get a fresh stack. By then my lady had been done with her food. The server didn't even offer a discount for my inconvenience. I ended up pay 35 dollars for food that had hair in it.
