We are neighbors and were first happy to hear about the new business coming in. We even showed up at the hearings and voted in favor of the business opening up. The owner was nice and promised to keep the neighborhood clean. After the voting, they stopped responding to emails and calls. I’ve tried multiple times. Here is all I can say: they are bad neighbors. The side and back of the business looks nasty, they don’t care about the community they’ve entered, they mere care about the “front” face of their business. I’m sad they are here. I wish we had a neighbor who cared about not making the back and side street a dumpster. Thanks for your reply below Eric. I will only believe your review as sincere if you address the issue I have brought up in my review. I’ll post a response if I see a change. For now, your side of abbot Kinney and the back of your business on oxford / marr street is a dumpster. That’s the opposite of neighborly.

This place is awesome! Maria is very friendly she runs the place The coaches are all friendly and accommodating. I love the workouts cuz you just show up and for 45 minutes you don't stop moving. It's perfect if you don't know what to do in the gym come down sweat a little bit and have a great time!

While in California, what else do you do??? You visit the local F45!!! Free parking in front and easy to get to. The studio itself was smaller than what I’m used to, but made great use of the space. I had an incredible class and can’t wait to come back and see these great coaches again!!!

This is one of the best high intensity workouts I've ever done! My boyfriend and I are visiting LA for business and we're staying in a across the street. During our first week we walked past the gym which has a very modern/clean feel and it caught our eye. Not to mention, we were dying for a good workout. We did some research online and discovered they had a 7 day free pass so we decided to try it out. During our first visit we were immediately welcomed by one of the instructors who kindly assisted us with getting registered online and signed up for the class, which was super simple. Our first class was a little more weight oriented and we loved every bit of it. The class targeted essentially every muscle group and they had an assortment of free weights at each station to choose from. One of the two instructors (Evan) came up to us after the class was over to ask us what we thought. The instructors were incredibly friendly which made for a comfortable feeling and got us excited for our next visit. We left knowing that were going to be so sore in the morning, and that we were. The following day we went to the 6:00pm class which was more cardio based and it was a KILLER workout and we left drenched in sweat. Evan, the instructor, was awesome. He assisted by pushing us through those last seconds when we felt like giving up and also helped correct our form if needed. I really enjoyed the large monitors which help guide you through each station and provide examples of the exercise. Anyone in the area looking for a new gym that is assured to provide you with a great workout, please do yourself a favor and...

Yes, it is pricey, but it is worth it. I signed up for the 6-month unlimited pass and went to 3-4 classes per week. (I only go once a week now due to logistical changes in my work schedule, and I pay for packs of classes instead of unlimited.)

The workouts vary tremendously and you will quickly learn which ones are your favorites. The variety of classes is helpful if you have specific cardio or strength goals. The online system + mobile app make signing up for specific classes easy.

The trainers are awesome, specifically Jack, Tanner, and Danni, who make a real effort to get to know everyone. They will also push you to try harder and correct your form when needed.

The clientele ranges from the ultra-athletic to the not-so-much. Each station always has a range of weights or modifications that allows everyone to get the most out of the specific move. However, if you have literally never worked out before, then I don’t really recommend F45, at least not right away. You will get the most out of class if you already know basic moves (squat, dead-lift, etc) since there are too many students at one time for the trainers to give everyone specific attention at each station.

As far as amenities go, there is a water fountain, a stack of clean towels, cubbies to store your stuff, and two bathrooms. There are no showers and definitely not a smoothie bar or anything like that -- people come here to work out hard, and socializing happens before or after class right outside.

Overall, if you’re looking for a variety of high intensity workouts with cool trainers, attendees, and music, I...

I love F45 Venice! I have always been intimidated by gyms, but F45 is different. Their cardio, resistance, and hybrid classes are great, and their coaches are the best! I joined F45 about a year and a half ago and started out slow and steady, just two days a week, with a lot of encouragement from coaches Maria, David, Daniel, Jason, Stephanie, and Kelly. After about a year, my new gym buddy Tina encouraged me to join the F45 Challenge, and it transformed my life. I started going to the gym 5-6 times a week and focused on eating more protein, drinking at least 2 liters of water a day, and getting 7 hours of sleep each night. I didn't go crazy, just slow and steady, building new habits, and now at 65, I'm in the best shape of my life! I used to think, "it's only downhill from here," but not anymore. It's never too late to get into shape and change your life for the better. I just finished my 300th class at F45 Venice, and I'm...
