Lavish Tan Venice — Local services in Los Angeles

I'm a licensed Esthetician in Atlanta. I completed 1000 hours plus numerous advanced training courses after I graduated esthetics school. I loved spray tanning throughout school & I was super excited to get my spray tan system! It has been several months that I have been using it & Im still not confident enough to use this system on my clients. I have sprayed myself several times. I've had a few follow skin care specialists spray me. I've also sprayed family members & several friends. Still not satisfied. I thought it might just be something I needed to get the hang of however after several months & $1000 investment Im still very disappointed in everything about this machine. It seems to be cheap quality & definitely not worth $1,000!! I ordered the system with the gun, system, tent, advertising accessories, gloves, bikinis, express tan & a gallon of solution. When applying the solution it appears very speckled & spotty. Very disappointed in this because I have continuously adjusted the knobs while spraying & for some reason no matter what I do it still will not spray evenly at all. It doesn't spray evenly AND appears speckled on the skin. The color is not bad after washing off the next day. The gun also drips solution everywhere. And this past weekend I took a trip with my system & the gallon of solution spilled out of the "child proof" lid and HALF of the gallon is gone now. I'm very confused why a child proof lid on spray tan solution would leak at all. The woman that I spoke to over the phone before I purchased the system assured me that they had never had a system returned in 7 years & that the solution was odorless. It is definitely NOT odorless! Also, when I initially thought about returning it she informed me that if I returned it I wouldn't get a full refund but only 70% would be returned to me so I decided to keep it. I feel very disappointed. I feel like I was lied to so I would make a purchase. I very much regret buying this machine. I opted to save money to buy this instead of buying a norvell system which was a little more pricey. Now I regret this terrible decision. I'm not happy at all with my purchase. I would have returned it immediately if it weren't for the 30% restocking fee. I hoped I would begin to like it & I would figure out how to adjust it to spray evenly but this just was not the case! For someone that has done countless hours of researching and applying selfless tanners, I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this product is.

I am very light skinned and use self tanners religiously for the last thirteen years. From streaks to my “good days”, I I have definitely seen it all on my spray tan journey! Let me also point out, I like a natural looking tan and not something that looks fake by any means. I like to look like I have a heartbeat and not a walking zombie!

Going back and forth with friends with what they have liked, it always went back to norvell. I will say norvell is one of the better self tanners that I have used in the past, but after the 4th and 5th day I felt like I started to look like an oompah loompa.

I came across lavish tan one day when i was on a mission to finally get a tan that I was in love with. I have a spray tan machine(maximist) and ordered their original product. The only complaint that I had on that one was the excessive amount of times I had to go back over my body to get the tan I wanted. This however didn’t stop me! I came across their DHA drops and their new violet color. BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE IN MY SELFLESS TANNING LIFE!!

Their violet solution also takes quite a bit to get the look I want but the DHA drops have helped with that as well.

I cannot tell you guys enough what a huge impact this has made on my life! This product should be selling itself. There’s a couple flaws within the solution but I would highly recommend putting it on and letting it develop over night. The violet solution is recommended for people with medium to olive skin which I am neither, and gives me a grey tint while developing. Don’t let this scare you! This is the best color I have ever received from a spray tan product! I am forever grateful for lavish tan and will recommend this to anyone...

Product is a VERY nice color but only goes to a med tan. With that being said... prepare to pat extra to get that med tan as you have to pay $30 for DHA drops for most clients to even see the tan. Secondly, I have an unresolved issue that has been pending for over a month and i am still waiting on a credit to my account I was promised. When I was explaining my issue to THE OWNER she would finish my sentences (incorrectly I might add) she was rushing through and not TAKING TIME to understand what I was saying... obviously bad follow through as well since I have to call (for the fourth time) to complete the last step of THEIR mistake on my order. I am 100% about customer service for my clients and its draining on my time and takes away from my clients and personal time when a company is inefficient. They are VERY friendly and have a good product.... just too pricey for the time I have to spend getting issues...
