Visited from the Uk. Website and pictures online show a beautiful hotel But hundred percent not what you get do not be fooled . Hugely overpriced for what is essentially a hostel Was told we didn’t have a room key So would have to be let in and out of our room .upon walking In the room it smelt horrendous like it hadn’t been cleaned for years Room felt more like a storage place for furniture that was surplus to requirement. Our non smoking balcony room someone had clearly been smoking in The bed was someone’s poor attempt at diy we complained asked to change room to be told it was fully booked and the answer about the smell was to leave the door open to air it out in the morning we complained again and asked to speak to the manager gave my number and not even a phone call who ever management is they really don’t care about your stay or the fact that you have paid your hard earned money on staying there whoever it is they are a scammer. Woke up in the morning to take a shower The fan sounds like someone screaming So the desk clerk in the morning told us we can either switch room when we get back from our day out or they will get the cleaners in to the sort the room we then went out for the day to come back and they had just febreezed /air freshener the hell out of the room and just left the air con on full blast So it was freezing when we entered As soon as we switched the air con off the smell was back DISGUSTING musty mouldy smell . The table in your room which your meant to sit at would be ok if your a fan of super wobbly tables And we was charged a hold of $50 which was meant to not be charged We paid a total £460 gbp for two nights in the WORST HOTEL EVER No joy on gettin a refund as the manager can’t even be bothered to check in and make sure guests are happy. Personally I have stayed at lots of motels and hotels in l.a iv stayed at hotel a quarter of the price that have a better all around experience . If your really into dirty dingy run down hostel style hotels where you don’t feel safe then this is the place for you but if you want a normal no thrills hotel I’d hundred percent look else where you couldn’t even pay me to come stay here again I’m just thankful we only stayed for two nights but I’d definitely avoid this place like the plaque I’d give no stars if it...
Read moreThe establishment charged us $100 (two separate charges of $50), which I discovered when checking my credit card statement (no receipt was sent from the establishment). I called and the employee alleged it was for "damaged towels," and said the manager would confirm with photo evidence (which we did not receive). I called the next day and spoke to another employee who stated they found the towels in our room post-check out "hanging on lightbulbs," and they had taken the photo evidence, which the manager would send to us via email. This claim is absurd. My partner and I wholeheartedly respect the establishments we stay in, and ensured we left the room clean, and easy to be housekept - including ALL towels being placed in ONE pile on the bathroom floor to the right of the toilet. The employee also stated the manager does not take calls, and they would reach out via email, but refused to give us the email address. The next day, after receiving no communication from the manager, we called again, and spoke to yet another employee. They did give us the email address of the manager, but said they had to keep the managers name confidential. They, too, said the manager is the only one who could provide us with photo evidence of the allegedly "burnt" towels. ||We had reached out to the manager via email last week (and followed up) and have yet to hear back and receive this supposed photo evidence (which I believe does not exist and never did because we did not do this). ||We are now left with a sour taste, and feel as though we were scammed and unrightfully charged. The establishment is extremely outdated (especially the bathroom, which is rusty and lacked hot water), and we are forced to pay $100 for towels we KNOW we did not damage! Furthermore, 2 of the 3 employees we spoke to hung up on us; one called my partner "weird" for calling out misinformation they were giving us. This place is extremely unprofessional, and the mismanagement is not worth your...
