AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Background: I (29M) and my girlfriend (28F) went here for a massage yesterday. We both HATE giving bad reviews, so it really takes a lot for us to go out of our way to write this review. First, the masseuse was using his elbow for about 80% of the massage, digging into my back and SPINE. I asked him multiple times to go lighter, but he wouldn’t. I ended up gritting my teeth and working through the pain. Today, I have dark marks and bruises on my back (there is nothing else I did between yesterday and today that could have caused this). In spite of the terrible massage, I still gave a decent tip of $10 (total) for mine and my girlfriend’s massage (she also reported hating her massage). THEY PARTIALLY BLOCKED THE DOOR AND WOULDN’T LET US LEAVE UNLESS WE GAVE MORE MONEY. I was genuinely concerned that they might assault us because they were so upset. Mind you, we were polite/courteous/respectful to them the entire time. My girlfriend finally pulled a $20 out of her wallet and gave it to them and then they let us leave. I will never go back here again, and wouldn’t send any friends or family here. Terrible massage, terrible service, and hostile staff. Do not go here. Please trust me. I am not an overly sensitive person with high expectations. This was a truly terrible experience. Today, my back is in PAIN (not just “sore”) and I had to get icy hot to help relieve the pain.

I've been living with severe back pain for the past 17 years, and get frequent massages as a result. They're usually usually good, or at worst, useless. This, however, was my first BAD experience. I came here because I'm broke, and they have a great price. Don't make my mistake. I paid extra for a room because I wanted oil, but the room was almost too small to be able to relax, the tabletop was bowed and uncomfortable, with minimal padding (if any) for my chin/ face, the oil (or maybe the guy's skin?) felt a bit grainy, and I left feeling itchy all over.

I've been to this place a number of times and thought I'd found the solution to my cronic pain, but... my massage a week ago wasn't great - I thought it was just a one off so I went back a few days later and I am still in shock... I need deep tissue massage work, and can tolerate a lot of pressure, but this guy had no idea what he was doing and when I did speak up he didn't listen, when I pulled feet and arms away from him, he just pulled them back and continued doing what he was doing, same with my spine - digging hard into bone. When I told him to "stop, too hard", he ignored me and kept talking to the guy next to us. I don't know what he thought he was doing to my biceps with his elbow bone, no one has ever done anything like it, I'm covered in huge deep dark bruises! And then to top it off, he kept congratulating himself for how hard he was massaging me. I said no! Not good! I tried to explain but he didn't understand and neither did the woman at the front desk. I wasn't really sure what to do in the moment... I wish I could have spoken to someone who understood me... I am quite upset about the experience and still have giant...

Massage is good and price is low. This is the only place where I found some of the best DEEP TISSUE massage therapists in Los Angeles. I was a customer even back when they only had 1 private room and the rest was a single foldable chair/bed all in one area, with all customers getting their massage in the same area. No doors, no curtains. I finally stopped going here when I developed a skin rash which I 100% got from this place. Their towels are usually a bit damp and smells unfresh. I usually bring my own blanket and towel whenever I go here, but I forgot to bring them on that particular day. Even after showering, I started itching and the amount of rashes scared me enough to go see my doctor. I had to take oral and topical medication for more than 3 weeks to clear out my rashes. I am not anal about shoddy looking massage places. I go for the massage, not the ambiance, but the rashes I developed made me stop going here. I was a customer for more...
