This bridge was recently reformed into a one-way Bridge due to the fact that the Abraham Lincoln Bridge was built right next to it going in the opposite direction. As a result, there is a toll to cross these Bridges now, but it is well worth the cost for the convenience and the beautiful view..

202309 Massive and beautifully constructed bridge. The Welcome to Indiana sign needs to be bigger. Love the Kentucky one. As for the toll, I didn't know notice the toll. How does it charge? I didn't see a sign, maybe I wasn't looking. Hope it is EZPass

Why am I paying to go over a major bridge that connects me between Atlanta and Chicago? Absolutely ridiculous.

How do you pay this toll??!! I went over this bridge twice this week in a rental car and want to pay the toll before the invoice goes to the rental agency and I get hit with some $40 surcharge. I first tried to do the "pay-by-plate" feature which required me calling the rental agency back and getting the vehicle VIN number, and the Riverlink system can't find my car. So I tried creating an actual Riverlink account and I'm stuck at the part where I have to assign the rental car to either a Riverlink or EZ Pass transponder (neither of which I have). It looks like my only option is to buy a transponder (which I don't want or need) and I'm prevented from doing anything else on the Riverlink site. It's so frustrating. The Illinois tollway page was a thousand times easier than this Riverlink hunk of garbage. I'm convinced Riverlink doesn't want people to pay just so they can send out invoices with additional fees. I hope Indiana/Kentucky come to their senses and scrap this piece of...

This bridge will allow mostly safe passage across the river, but you won't feel any better for the trip. I mean, I want a bridge that makes me feel good. Sure, the paint job is rustic, and the stylized pavement takes you back to all of the glory of a WWII airstrip in the Pacific, but I want more. In my expedient trek across the bridge, I spend hours every day in reflection, often gazing out into the misty nothingness above the Ohio River. I am not filled with meaning upon such reflection, instead finding that the misty void has been mirrored inside me. I want to find purpose in my bridges, but the Kennedy always leaves me feeling empty, even though...

This was very confusing and annoying. We crossed this bridge for the first (and only) time taking an alternate route on vacation. We were using a rental car and just received an invoice for about $40 due to service fee from the rental company. I would rather not have a toll at all, but wouldn't mind so much if I could just pay $4 at the time instead of $40 an entire month later due to lack of transparency and poor communication.

We actually liked this route better at the time, but are obviously livid now and won't be using it again. We spend a lot of money on road trips, but don't worry - we'll be spending it in Ohio...
