Fantastic room, Jack did a good job answering our questions. I strongly prefer the text hints instead of a microphone, so I am happy they used text here. My team did Frost Base Z and we crushed it! Got out with 9 minutes left with 2 hints, this was not the norm as we were told that groups that get 3 or less hints get out 35% of the time. The room was very immersive and linear and all the puzzles and clues made sense. I hope try their other rooms out!
Update: Got around to the Mystic Temple! The room was equally immersive and well-done. They did lose our team photo but they provided us a coupon for future use.
This style was not my favorite, my team struggled to simply try to match some symbols, this was our fault, it just didn't click for us. This cost us a ton of time. We did not get out but our gamemaster (who swapped at some point during our solve) showed us through through the finish which was very nice of them. There were a few 'things' on the floor that mislead us near the end too. If you do this room you likely will see why or how. Overall I am super happy we did it (and I hope to do Paradox!) but I did prefer Frost Base Z (maybe because we did better, Ha!). Thanks Rabbit Hole!
Update (2): We got around to doing Paradox, and we crushed it! With 2 hints and 4 members on the team, we got out with 17 minutes to spare! WOW! The room was equally high quality as the others and it was clear how puzzles connected. It had a nice storyline that was easy to follow. I was a bit concerned at first about 1 item you use, but it was used exceptionally well (and not overused). The room has a more stable and calmer mood compared to the other 2 rooms. Clayton was a great and welcoming puzzle master.
I feel like Frost Base Z was my favorite of the 3, but primarily for the set design and one very cool feature at the start. Thankfully, there are very few locks in these rooms (Master-lock type of locks). This is a huge upside. If you can, I would do all 3! If you can't, pick the theme/storyline that your group finds the coolest, you can't go wrong at Rabbit Hole. The only downside is that I wish they had...

My friends and I have been huge fans of the Rabbit Hole escape rooms from the beginning and we just played their newest addition to the business - JUBENSHA! If you haven't heard of it, don't worry, we hadn't either, but oh-em-gee! Think, murder mystery meets DnD. We highly recommend picking your characters ahead of time and coming in costume to further immerse yourself in the experience.
We played "Tree Rings", which exceeded our already high expectations. Our game host, Casey, was absolutely incredible, and to no surprise, the experience was full of mystery, surprises, clever props, an immersive setting, audio and visual effects, a complex storyline and snacks and refreshments. Bring your thinking caps and imagination skills to figure out this mystery. We quite literally cannot wait to play Snow Manor and Half Past One.
Old Post 2019:
First of all, I would highly recommend Rabbit Hole Recreation Services. We played their Mystic Temple room and it was one of the best rooms we've played. My "escape group" and I have played about 6 rooms together and we all agree, this is the best. Rabbit Hole dedicated themselves to the "Mystic Temple" theme making the clues, puzzles, decorations, audio and entire game a real experience. The puzzles were extremely unique and clever and miles beyond the simple lock/key or number combinations puzzles frequently found at other companies. There was a good variety between the types of puzzles you need to solve, so everyone in the group was essential and kept busy. The staff is extremely friendly, professional and respectful and they are running a great business! We cannot wait to come back and play their next room and highly encourage anyone with an interest in escape rooms or just having fun...
Read moreMy four female friends and I did Frost Base Z for my birthday and were so impressed by the whole thing. The room was incredible, it was difficult and interesting, and the decor of the rooms was spectacular! Unfortunately, a few minutes into one of the first rooms, one of my friends (who is under five feet and thin) was sitting on a sturdy decorative rock about three feet off the ground looking for clues when the emergency door opened abruptly. A man said loudly and aggressively, "GET OFF OF THAT," and glared at her as she quickly did. He left, and the rest of us commented on how unnecessarily rude it was. Even if it was necessary that she get off of the equipment, the way in which it was handled was unprofessional, unkind, intense, and ruined the atmosphere of the escape room. Caleb, our narrator/hint giver, opened the door shortly after to briefly apologize and give us a hint. It was super weird and damaged the whole experience for us all.
I would go again and try the other rooms because Frost Base Z was so well done and included several different interactive rooms, but it was really a bummer that it happened like it did. In conclusion, I hope it wasn't the owner because he should be fired, and Caleb deserves a raise.
*EDITED TO ADD The owner reached out after this review with a video tape of the interaction. Unfortunately there is no sound and you can't see the man's face who yelled at my friend, so there was no way for the owner to see how he actually dealt with the situation. Bummer that there wasn't actually an apology or any acknowledgement that it damaged our experience or the review would have...
