I'll call it a 4.1 or 4.2, rounded up to 5. Doubling back on routes was a bit peculiar, as I feel like seeing the same roads/sights could be avoided with an amended route. One, big circle with different roads or streets would be nice, rather than criss-crossing what we already saw. That being said, Adam was very helpful on the phone (needed parking suggestions) and extremely informational, warm, educational and entertaining during our tour. He's a true professional and clearly knows what he's doing - both with the tour and somehow navigating that trolley through some of those narrower streets. Hearing and seeing more about Louisville than I previously knew was cool. Stopping at Churchill Downs was a nice touch; never been there, so kind of cool to say I'd been there now. Don't be afraid to ask questions; Adam answered several for the folks on our tour. Parking suggestions: it's very hard to tell on Google maps, but the trolley is right across of the hotel entrance. A garage is on the hotel entrance side (opposite of the trolley). There is a ramp/road/street that goes DOWN (a hidden/sneaky underside parking area ($) is available down there on your left). Or, if you stay on that same street level that the trolley is on, just drive past it - like you're going towards the river - and there's a lot on your left at the end of that building.

I was recommended to go on this tour by the Louisville Visitor Center and I’m glad that I did so. Our guide Travis was professional and hospital, who knew Louisville like the back of his hand. He had awesome fun facts about the city and enlightened us on the history of this historic town. We only had a day in Louisville, so this tour was amazing in that it covered the important landmarks of Louisville I.e Old Louisville with its old Victorian houses, Downtown, UoL campus, the Brown Hotel, West Main Street and a quick pit stop at the Churchill Downs to grab a quick souvenir. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is running short on time but would still like to go around Louisville.

🚋 A Fantastic Trolley Adventure with Trolley de'ville! 🚋

If you’re looking to get the lay of the land in Louisville, hopping on the Trolley de'Ville is a must! You can catch the trolley right outside the Frazier History Museum, just a stone's throw from the Louisville Slugger Museum.

Our tour guide, Travis, was an absolute gem! Not only did he bring the history of Louisville to life, but he also shared some fun trivia—did you know that Ford F150s and Toyota Camrys are assembled right here in Kentucky? He even gave us the percentages of American-made parts! Talk about a knowledgeable guide!

This tour is the perfect starting point to get your bearings on what else you want to explore in this vibrant city. I highly recommend the midday trolley tour, especially since it conveniently stops at Churchill Downs. You’ll have just enough time to indulge in some shopping at the gift shop or grab a snack at the café before they close.

Overall, Trolley de'Ville is an entertaining and informative way to kick off your Louisville adventure....

We scheduled a tour of Louisville with Trolley Deville for for our fifth day there. Were a bit concerned it would be repetitive since we would have been there so many days already. Not an issue!!

As we navigated the streets of Louisville the driver (co-owner?) pointed out numerous buildings and statues and just plain interesting locations we had not “seen” as we passed them by the days before. Besides great information on everything we passed and what happened or had happened at varied location, we got to painlessly see the many neighborhoods of the city including “Old Louisville” - a collection of HUGE and (mostly) still beautiful homes.

After slowly passing through the campus of University of Louisville we made a quick stop at Churchill Downs. Not enough time to take a tour or catch a race, but nice to see. Knew it would be an interesting way to painlessly explore the city but was also part comedy show.

Highly recommend the tour and not missing their company’s small gift shop on 3rd floor of the building where the...
