Diamonte Jewelers Ltd — Attraction in Lower Paxton Township

My husband and I have been married for over forty (40) years. For quite some time I have been thinking of upgrading my diamond but was reluctant to do so. I was torn between sentimental feelings and other issues which resulted in procrastination of my decision.

After doing some business with Diamonte Jeweler three years ago, we decided to return to do some added business. My husband bought my daughter and I Diamond Stud Earrings for Christmas. We were both thrilled and fascinated with the result.

David, the Manager was very kind, courteous and knowledgeable in all facets of the jewelry business, in particular Diamonds. I felt very comfortable asking questions and eliciting suggestions. I was treated as a valued customer, no pressure whatsoever.

When we finally decided the choice was crystal clear- it was Diamonte. David sat with us and painstakingly explained the options that were available to us. David's expertise and creativity was very evident. He explained that he could take my old diamond and put it in my husband's wedding band since we did not want to part with it.

We discussed with David cost and what we would expect with the finished product. We had some doubts and reservations. However, we decided to do business with Diamonte as discussed. We left for vacation. Upon our return, we went to get our rings and we could not believe our eyes. We were stunned at the final outcome. Our rings are simply beautiful. What a transformation!

We have no hesitation recommending Diamonte to anyone wanting quality jewelry at reasonable prices and excellent service from a locally owned family business built on the fundamental principles of honesty, integrity and responsibility.

After 21 years of marriage my husband decided to upgrade my gold wedding band. After going to different jewelry stores to oblige my husband. I knew all along I wanted to make my final stop at DiaMonte Jewelers. Leonora, and David are AMAZING! I really liked the time spent with Leonora discussing what I was looking for in a custom made ring. I told Leonora I wanted a pear shape diamond…not only did she find me a beautiful pear shape diamond she found one that checked all the 4Cs. The carat was bigger than I thought it was going to be. After finding the pear shape diamond it was time to pick out the band. The band Leonora found was so pretty. I was soooo happy, excited, and well pleased.

David wanted to make sure my ring was going to look good with my current band, and it wasn’t. We had the same idea of making two bands to go on each side of my ring to give it some thickness. So David took my plain gold band to make two rings to go on each side of my ring. He made 2- 2.5mm rings and soldered one on each side of my ring to give it a well balanced look. I absolutely love my ring, and how he made sure I was going to have a nice custom ring. When Leonora said my ring was ready I couldn’t wait! 💍 🚙💨💨💨💨

My husband was worried about paying an astronomical price, but he was very pleased with my ring, and we stayed within budget. In my opinion it’s better to have a custom ring made. Preferably at DiaMonte 💍 It’s more sentimental!!

In June 2022 - I had a very bad experience. Wanted to have an appraisal completed for a ring we were considering purchasing on marketplace. The ring was dropped off by the ring owner and we prepaid Diamonte for the appraisal they were to complete, as was our agreement. We spoke with the owner of Diamonte personally and he understood that we were to get what we paid for (the appraisal) and the ring owner, their ring back. Diamonte gave the appraisal to the ring owner. We never received it. We lost leverage with the purchase we were trying to make which ended up then not going through. No call was received from Diamonte regarding their blunder and no refund for appraisal that we paid for and never received. Normally, always support small business... except maybe avoid this particular one as they do not stand behind their errors. Edited 7/22 to Add - it was not months ago- this was recent. No expectation for us to pick up the ring. The deal with Diamonte was for us to pick up the appraisal we paid for and not give it to someone who didn't pay for the appraisal. We walked away from the deal because we had no leverage. No copy would be needed for a ring we chose not to buy due to Diamonte's negligence.
