We've now had our son's birthday party here 2yrs in a row. Last year it was great - staff greeted us right away. Saw we were holding balloons and goodies. The room was clean, they helped our guests get checked in and get their socks so the kids to go straight to having fun! Check out was impeccable. Walked to the front with our things and instructed who to pay and thanked us for spending our special day with them (5 stars hands-down). This year was a little different. Granted one of the first things we were told was how they were short staffed so I am not taking away any stars due to this factor- that's not something I'll fault you for. The room was set up and clean. Check in was tough this time around again to lack of staff. But the park was clean, our drinks were brought right away and the pizza was great! I did ask for water at one point (last year they already had 2 pitchers set up for us which was AMAZING) and saw them talking about my request. They seemed annoyed. I didn't think water was such a big ask... but all in all our experience was good and the man who helped us, when he had time, was very nice to myself and the kids! Then our 2hr limit was approaching, a young man brought me the tablet to pay and said whenever I was ready - no problem. Signed and paid. I then asked if we were getting the boot from our room and he said no no not yet. I responded with okay we'll gather everything and get out as soon as possible. I grab the other parents to gather belongings and to my shock the next family was literally standing at the door with their stuff glaring at us. Not how I wanted to end my son's party. It was rushed, unprofessional and made any nice way of ending our experience possible. And of course no employees to be found. If it is time to leave just tell me (to add it wasn't like we were hrs passed our time - maybe 5mins) I even asked so i was pretty annoyed with how this was handled. Or even tell me the other party has arrived already! They came in so quick the GetAir team didn't even clean! No thank you for the pile of money spent or tip or for having our party here. All in all we always enjoy our time here and we of course will be back - it's a great park and I much prefer GetAir to SkyZone. Please work on the communication of your staff and check out procedures! Especially when me and my husband are helping you make $400 plus tip right...
Read moreMy family and I visited the Get Air trampoline park on Jonestown Rd this evening for a two hour jump session for five of my nieces and nephews. Two of them are autistic ages 4 and 5 and I thought that this would be a safe space for them to play especially since the Autism awareness sign was posted and because there were very few people there. Boy was I wrong. I was approached at least three separate times by one lady because my nephew was climbing up the sliding board instead of climbing the stairs. By the third time I stood at the slide to redirect him from walking up the slide. Every time I turned around, she was looking at us to the point where I felt like she was stalking us. I never once saw her redirect any other child there for anything at all. The one time my nephew ran back into the party area as he saw a giant lighted inflatable, as I proceeded to get him, she made it a point to say to me that they can not have that. Mind you there was no door blocking the area and had she not been constantly addressing me, she would have been able to properly man that area. Another staff made it a point to tell me that one of the staff tried to wipe my nephews runny nose (without permission). The last straw was my nephew climbing into an area that was off limits to kids but was partially accessible for kids to enter and should have been completely inaccessible. The staff that was already in that area was addressing this and here comes the lady from way in the back who was stalking us the whole time. I politely expressed that we could not even enjoy this experience due to the targeting nature of the staff there. Being the only black family in the park at this time, made me feel like we were being profiled. We left after an hour and 15 minutes. We have memberships at Urban Air and never had anything like this happen there. Needless to say that I will not go back to Get Air again. And, I would not...
Read moreWe have been many times and it was a great place to take kids, but something has changed. Now, the place is filthy and staffing is nearly nonexistent and hostile. We arrived around 10:30am this morning and there was no one behind the front desk. We waited a while and looked around for an employee. We couldn't find any employees anywhere. Since we signed the waivers and paid online, we went in. We quickly noticed that there was garbage all over the floors and the small kid area had a strong smell of urine. There was garbage on the floor in the bathroom and no soap. There were dead bugs on the trampolines. Finally, my husband went to the office behind the front desk and after knocking repeated, two employees emerged. Both seemed to be under the influence and immediately became combative. When we expressed concern about the lack of employees and the cleanliness, the one employee said she was the team leader but that it wasn't her job to be on the floor or clean. She told us that the manager/owner had opened and he thought it was clean enough to open for business. At that point, we asked for a refund stating that we didn't think that the facility was safe for our kids. The two employees were yelling and using profanities in front groups of children. The one employee picked up a megaphone and started yelling at us to leave. I am so stunned. It is unreal that the place is open for kids to play in this condition and without...
