**Update on 2/22/24 My husband picked up our takeout order. We got the beef w/ broccoli and I got the garlic sauce w/ beef, plus a pint of lo mein to share. Upon opening both trays, they looked identical except one had bell peppers. I think it’s funny how there’s no clear distinction between their dishes because they use the same vegetables in everything. Both of our sauces look the same in color and texture (super greasy you can see the oil floating on top). Mine should be spicy but there’s no spiciness in it. The lo mein was really off today as it was mushy and lacked flavor. The beef is questionable. It has a very chewy texture where I couldn’t finish chewing and ended up spitting it out. The fried rice was really dry too. This place seemed promising at the beginning. Overall, it’s a hit or miss. Today was a total flop in food and service. They put only one spoon and fork for an order of 2 dishes. No napkins. Sadly, this is the only decent Chinese American restaurant close to us. _________________________________________ I just ordered takeout from this place and while I was eating out of my takeout tray, I found a piece of hair. I took it out and laid it on the lid to take these pictures. It looks like facial hair. I think the staff needs to be alarmed and practice hygiene and wear masks or hairnets. Earlier while I was sitting in the restaurant and waiting for my food, the older woman who worked there was coughing a lot. I looked over and she was coughing all over the napkins that she was folding. They could seriously be shut down from the Food Inspection Agency for poor hygiene and sanitation. With Covid spreading again, this should not be taken lightly. People can get sick and there’s no reason to be lenient about it.

We ordered today for a birthday celebration - delivery from qMenu. Normally this is our favorite Chinese restaurant so I don’t know what happened, but our order was terrible today. Mostly inedible. Our chicken teriyaki (5) had zero flavor, very bland The chicken lo mein (2) also no flavor noodles soggy and overcooked not seasoned General Tsos (3) tasted bad and had a rubbery spoiled smell to the chicken Beef with broccoli (3) wasn' the same either sort of watery? Boneless spareribs was more sauce than any meat. House fried rice was completely missing Shrimp fried rice was good Spring rolls were good Dumplings were good but burnt Thai red curry chicken was good. But frankly, for an almost $250 order - that was the most poorly prepared meal we have ever had and the fact that the house fried rice was missing entirely, made it worse. We had a house full of guests for a birthday celebration and it was embarrassing that there wasn’t much they could eat and the bad smelling chicken made everyone a little afraid of food poisoning. Very disappointed.

This place is a hidden gem. Some of the best sushi around. Their rolls are always a generous size and tightly rolled. The Thai and Chinese choices on the menu are tasty too. It makes it a great spot to get sushi with a group so even if someone in your party doesn't like sushi there are other samplings. Make sure to stop in for their awesome lunch specials from 11am to 3pm.

Hello, I am from Maryland and recently relocated to Harrisburg. I have been trying restaurants in this area and some good and some where awful, but Hong Kong city was EXCELLENT! I haven't been much of a fan of Chinese food since I was a kid because back then Chinese food was soo good but it seem to have gotten just average. Today I decided to give it a shot just because I wanted something different. I ordered for delivery 10 spare ribs, shrimp egg fo young and two egg rolls, one pork and one shrimp. Delivery guy was as sweet as pie. The shrimp egg fo young took me immediately to my childhood, it was soooo delicious and shrimp in every bite. The ribs tasted fresh and cooked to perfection and not a lack of meat AT ALL. The egg rolls were in my opinion just average but good too. When I got the food it was still piping hot too.My compliments to the chef, and thank you for taking me back to a kid when food was excellent and restoring my faith in your cuisine! My new favorite Chinese restaurants!!!! UPDATE: 8/1/25 Because the food was so awesome on July 18th I ordered again but I decided to try different things. I got the teriyaki chicken sticks, egg foo young again, chicken and cashews, and beef and broccoli. Today the egg foo young was taste less like it was missing ingredients, the teriyaki chicken had nooo hint of teriyaki on them just chicken on a stick, cashew chicken was decent but not great, and the beef and broccoli was on point. So I would say this restaurant is inconsistent!! Imma have to take back my new favorite restaurant and take a few stars with it. Who ever cooked today needs lessons from the person that cooked July 18th. Advise, the key to egg foo young is the gravy and today it...

Their customer service is disgusting. My brother’s card declined, even though he had money in his card. So either there was a malfunction with his card or with their machine. That’s no excuse for the waitress to shout “your card declined” letting the whole restaurant hear. He also said the owner came out and started staring my brother down like he was trying to rob them. Clearly he was on break wearing his work uniform and ready to go back to work which was literally couple of steps away from the restaurant and they knew it. My brother was a first time customer and that will be his last time ever dining there. They are rude and disgusting.

Now about the food, my brother ordered the orange chicken and there was barely any chicken. It was mostly fried batter and battered bits. It’s embarrassing to be serving that to customers. Their crab rangoon didn’t have much filling and everything was bland. He said the only good thing he ate there were the complimentary fried wontons with the sweet and sour sauce, which isn’t saying much.

Honestly, I’ve been there once about 10 years ago. Never came back because there’s nothing amazing about their food and I could get better quality and quantity else where.

Now I just have more reason to not like them. Keep up the...
