I had $350-$400 worth of items to purchase in my cart and then identified a print I wanted to purchase marked at $129. The print had 3 moderate sized, obvious flaws (from being scratched/dented during shipping), and I asked for a manager to see my options re a discount.... the coordinator, Patty (b/c I guess the manager, Alex was too busy to initially assist) and then eventually store manager Alex, (after asking for store manager again).... said their store policy was the manager on-site can only make 10% off price decisions on damaged items..... Soooo Corporate micro-managers or idk.... but I left all other items in my basket that I originally intended to purchase, at the check out counter and left. Zero consideration for overall purchase I was about to make, and just hoping the next shopper didn't notice damaged art so they could still get full price! (I watched them put damaged print right back out for full price). Oh well, sure made my husband happy!!! No one at store cared at all!!! (P.S. I found 3 comforter sets witj Queen size stickers, while manufacturer size said King size, I pointed this out to 2 sales associates and they left the items on the shelf, just as they were). Poor poor poor service! Shop local or shop online.... customer service here leaves much to...
Read moreI love Home Goods and Marshalls. Home Goods is usually the first place I look when I need something for kitchen, bed, or bath. The merchandise is first quality at unbeatable prices. Marshalls has quality clothing, shoes, and accessories, also at great prices. The selection of plus size clothing is somewhat lacking, as Marshalls seems to cater to misses and juniors. My one complaint with Home Goods, Marshalls, and all T.J. Maxx-owned stores is that they don't have any motorized handicapped carts. The ADA doesn't require them to, but if you have limited mobility, you need to bring your own scooter or wheelchair. Even so, if there's a "wheelchair-adapted" cart, it's usually too tall to see over. But the world is not exactly...
Read moreI'm disappointed in the store management. I found the last hello kitty white make up bag and it was in the clearance section. It had black staining on the ears and on the front and I was trying to scrap it off with my nails but it wouldn't come off. I went to the register and asked the very sweet cashier if it was marked down since it was in the clearance and stained. The management refused and said it would have to be ripped in order to be marked down.I really think that's a little greedy since it was clearly stained and wasn't coming off. I wouldn't pay 16 dollars for a damaged make up bag .I'm assuming they thought it was me who did it. Just very...
