The Plaza — Attraction in Lynchburg

I have to say that I dashed in with only 20 minutes left before they closed due to the nasty streets from the snow and ice. But the young lady that waited on me spoke Spanish to the gentleman in front of me and also returned everything in English for all of those that don't speak Spanish as she talked to him and he was confused about something to do with his change I believe and she was gracefully explaining to him and took such care and kindness and when she waited on me it's like she knew I've been having a bad week and she made me laugh maybe one of the first times I generally laughed in quite a while I don't know this young lady's name but she was working clothes of the dollar tree or the $1.25 tree now last night and she was just so nice and gracious and really made my evening so tops off to you I wish I knew your name but you're kind of short beautifully plump and friendly and I hope that everyone who works with you realizes how valuable you are to their team because you are so kind to people the Dollar tree went up to $1.25 and she explained that if it created a hardship for you because you didn't know that they would work with you and I've never heard anyone in retail store return a statement like that to someone so keep doing what you're doing you are awesome and thank you for your kind service during the week that I would like to climb...

I'm a fan of the movies. A long time ago people used to look forward to going out, spending a moderate amount of money to see a movie and forking over a few bucks for fresh buttery popcorn and far too much soda for a 2 hour window.

At 2$ a ticket for matinees the prices can't be beat. The only downside is that you'll have to wait a few months after the normal theatrical release to see any movies. But if you are patient and frugal this is a great place to go.

On top of that, often I'll find that they are playing movies I never got to see in theaters; my neighbor totoro, jurassic park, Galaxy Quest, and many others. About once a month I check to see whats playing and usually end up seeing a movie with my wife. This place makes date night easy, for a poor married couple a few bucks for a ticket, a bucket of popcorn, and some sodas we snuck in from outside (don't tell the owners) make for a wonderful night out. 10/10...

The Lynchburg Plaza or better known as the "Pitman Plaza" is still standing per say... You have Citi Trend (Clothing Store), HI Peaks Sportwear (Custom Embroidery Sports Ordering), A+ Beauty Supply (Beauty Supply Store), Roses Express (General Merchandise Store), Boost Mobile (Cell Phone Shop, MICKEY Nails (Nail Shop), Color Tyme (Rental Store), Dollar Tree (Everything has increased to $1.25 as of January 3, 2022), The Venue (Old Movie Theater), and a few side shops at the entrance or side street and of course the Public Library... All in All it is a decent shopping center and okay experience... It can definitely be vamped up and remodeled and adding of more store would be a addition especially if there intention is to keep this Plaza...
