Great community gathering spot in the village where you can rest from biking or walking. Also serves as a good central meeting place if you're travelling with others. The park is on a slope at the base of the bluff, so you get a view of the harbor. You also get great view of the walls of the fort on the top of the bluff above the park. A "secret" stairway on the edge of the park takes you up to Huron St. The park is filled with lilac bushes, but not very many trees, so it's not the best for a finding a shady spot. Read moreWell taken care of park. The only area on the island where the roads didn't have horse poo laying around everywhere. Right at the end of Lake Shore Dr. and Market St. Can't miss it. A stones throw from where the ferry drops you off. Right in front of Ft. Mackinac.
