There's no real need to write a review of this or any place on the island. They are all the same place. Everything costs the same and it's all the same pre packaged ingredients the bring in by boat in every restaurant. This place has a cute diner feel and the staff was all trying their best to accommodate an endless stream of tourists. The food was fine and about what you'd expect. I'm mostly very confused by the chilaquiles and I hope the owner reads this. I don't know who came back from the Southwest and told every restaurant in Michigan how to make chilaquiles wrong but they should be jailed. Serving a fried egg on top of stale chips in salsa is not chilaquiles. The irony is that there's probably a lot of stale chips on the island but if you actually cooked the chips with the eggs like you're supposed to, you could make a really good breakfast out of them. Read moreWe had breakfast Thursday, June 20 around 9am. It was very busy and we registered our names in a waiting list. It took around 30 minutes to get a table. The gentleman who was managing the waiting list was very well trained and was very helpful. The waitress was very nice and prompt. Due to diet restrictions I needed help to customize the food. The waitress was very cooperative. For example, she clarified that multiple meats, fries share the same friers. She helped us get the breakfast items that lined up with our dietary restrictions. I ordered veggie 3 egg omelette. I wanted to have fries and hashbrowns, but after she clarified that these were fried in the same oil in which meats were fried, we dropped the idea. The taste of food was good, service was professional...
