3D Maze of Mirrors — Attraction in Mackinac Island

We visited the maze of mirrors with our three year old - figured it would be a fun thing for us and our son to do while visiting the island for the day. After we paid our $30 to get in, the man at the counter told us we had to wear plastic gloves so we didn’t fingerprint up the mirrors. Ok, cool. He grabs a couple loose one-size-fits-all cheapo plastic kitchen gloves, which don’t fit our three year olds’ hands in the slightest. It was 90 degrees outside, so once we finally got his clammy little hands in the gloves, they immediately fell off. He wasn’t having it. The cashier said it was policy to wear them, and he had no alternative options (smaller, kid sizes for the kiddie attraction?); so rather than make everyone miserable over a stupid pair of gloves, we elected to pass on the excursion. The cashier just pointed at some sign on the wall and told us he wouldn’t refund the fee, even though we didn’t go through the house at all. Beware if you have small kids. We asked if it was ok for small kids 2 year olds and he said “yeah we have babies go through it”. We literally took two steps in and and had to come out due to it being overwhelming despite what the kid told us. I went back to the kid to discuss a refund with him replying “what’s up?” “I just work here I don’t even know how to do it and it’s right on the sign” No refunds are given. Not sure who doesn’t do refunds these days especially if it affects your experience. After reading other reviews looks like other people were not able to participate and they just take your money. Lots of other fun things to do on the island with your kids so our experience says choose...

Yesterday afternoon 06/29/2025 my wife took our kids through your maze. The first thing we where impressed with was that the gentleman who was working was wearing a military tshirt in support of our men in arms Thank you for that. He was also quite friendly despite being very busy and having an second employee who we thought was inline until he said he was an employee and playing on his phone, Second thing that we like is how fun the kids had with the maze. and the music chose was also nice, ...
