i just recently went to mackinac island for their lilac festival 10K run and walk. while waiting to get seated at verde’s taqueria, i noticed that there was a cookie shop behind the restaurant. after eating i told myself i’d come back to check it out. intending to buy a couple cookies, i quickly realized that one cookie was bigger than my head ! i ended up getting their dutch chocolate chunk cookie and it was very delicious, perfectly chewy in the middle and crunchy on the outside. staff was also very friendly and accommodating, which is always good for business. they also sold drinks and some merchandise. i would 100% go back and try other flavors (and maybe a drink) when i’m back on...

Best cookies in Michigan. Huge and not expensive for a tourist area. Have had chocolate chip/chunk cookies from all over the state and these are the best. Even had gluten free chocolate chunk cookie. Wonderful owner. Hard to find. It is where the Arnold dock starts just off the street. Very small sign because of the local ordinance. Definitely give them a try.
