They need to train there employees or rewrite their menu board. When you order by using the number next to the sandwich you get nothing in it other than the bread meat and cheese! If you had a good employee they would have asked if we wanted anything else in it like tomatoes, lettuce, mayo etc...even though my husband said "and the works". So here we are waiting for the longest time to get our sandwiches. The girl making them was moving as slow as molasses and the place was busy. Many were waiting and she just took her time. In the midst of being so busy while one is making the sandwiches here is another employee that decides to dry sweep up the same area the other is making the sandwiches. I don't think that is sanitary while food is being prepared...Finally when we got our sandwiches and we opened them up we noticed that she made us a plain dry sandwich. Meat, cheese and bread. I confronted her and her rude response was that is what you get when you order a number 2 and number 4! I told her we said "and the works"... We paid for their overpriced sandwiches and got a plain dry sandwich. I would not recommend this place. Go somewhere else on the island. I am sure there are better places with...
Read moreOrdered an iced americano (after waiting without being acknowledged for a couple minutes), then waited a few more minutes for someone to notice my drink and start making it. When I got it, it looked creamy so I asked if there was milk in it, and they said “yes,” so I reiterated that I ordered an iced americano (which is what they called out the drink as) and just wanted espresso over water. The worker grabbed the drink and came back with another one in 20 seconds - less time than it even takes to pull espresso shots. What I got the second time looked light for an americano, and tasted like a watered down crappy cup of coffee - which I’m almost positive it was. As a barista myself, this experience was super upsetting. It’s obvious the workers don’t know how to make basic coffee drinks, and don’t even have a positive attitude or regard for customers. I am super disappointed that I wasted $6. After this, I went around the block to Lucky Bean, ordered a large iced americano and had an all around positive experience. I wish I would have followed my gut and gone there in the...
Read moreIce cream was absolutely delicious. The staff seemed miserable. We came in around 5pm. I know the day before was very busy. The one girl scooped our ice-cream and was patient with my questions and having my daughter try mine before getting her own. The other girl bickered to her from the cafe side about how she couldn't cash us out because she needs to go to her other job. So we awkwardly stood there awhile just eating the ice-cream. The girl that complained is the one that cashed us out after all and she threw my change into her tip jar. It was an auto pilot kind of move. We just stared at each other and she said the amount of change quietly. I told her it was fine and threw a dollar in it. I hope these girls are getting some breaks...
