Absolutely love everything about this store. From the fun unique shop (that floor!), the staff, and the high quality products they sell. So many times when I travel to areas like Mackinac, the merchandise is the same cheap products sold at every other shop with the same boring logos. Then you are lucky if they make it through a couple of washes before the logos fall off and it ends up in the trash. Threads offers unique high quality offerings and unique designs that are only found at their shop. The items I have bought have survived numerous washings and still look great a year later. I have even ordered more shirts, sweatshirts, and a couple of hats on their website to get my Mackinac fix during this crazy year. I get lots of compliments when I wear these products and I have even purchased a few items as gifts. Chatted up the staff and found that this is a family owned and operated shop that had just opened a week before my visit. Everyone I met was helpful and was very knowledgeable of the products. This was the first year in 15 years that we were not able to go to Mackinac Island. I wanted to get my husband a new t-shirt for his birthday as a surprise. I ordered (via website) a blue/gold short sleeve t-shirt with the simple Macinac (M) logo. I was contacted ny the owner and told that they did not have the shirt I ordered in stock due to a vendor issue. I was given the offer to choose anything I wanted for my husband and they would expedite shipping. How awesome is that!! I chose the same t-shirt that I originally ordered, but in gold/blue. Micah shipped me the gold/blue t-shirt AND a long sleeve blue/white t-shirt with the Mackinac Island (with horses) logo!! The package came within a day or so and I was so surprised to see TWO shirts. I had a great experience at this store! Morgan was very kind and informative. She explained to us what made their shop special and the meaning behind some of their designs.

The quality of the articles of clothing is very high, and you won't find designs as clean and unique at any of the other shops.

The store was clean, well-lit, and organized. Designs were available a number of cuts, sizes, and colors.
