GameStop — Attraction in Madison Township

Horrible shop. Came in to do trade ins with cash in hand to buy a Switch 2. Yes I came in 15 mins before close but their hours are horrid most days and this was the only time I can come due to work.

As soon as I walked in the guy at the front desk began to complain that they were closing in 15 mins. I said I was here early and they said you were open to 8pm and this is the only time I could come due to their hours. He looked in my box of trades which had games, switch, Xbox, Wii U all the cables and controllers. He immediately put his hands on his head and continued to complain that he closes in 15 minutes and doesn’t want to stay late.

I told him I was buying a switch 2 and accessories I just need to do this trade in first but it was a guaranteed sale and I’m a Game Stop member

He said, I close in 15 minutes, I’m not doing this.

Game stop doesn’t give good trade ins to begins with but with this experience, I’ll never shop Game Stop again. Horrible customer service,...

My husband and I frequented this GameStop multiple times a week. We were loyal with purchases and pre-orders for games and funko pops, often choosing this specific GameStop over Amazon. Andrew was always amazing and on top of EVERYTHING. Including calling us whenever he saw something come in that he thought we would be interested in. This was not a friend, just an acquaintance we came to know from our time shopping there. I have never seen such a dedicated employee for any company EVER. We recently learned that he is no longer there after seeing several new (and unhelpful) employees. I would literally go to any other gamestop they hardly answer the phone and the tablet they use to test controllers didn't work so dude tried to give me 5$ for a perfectly good ps4 controller said he had to take it as defective because the tablet they use to test the controller wasn't working wasted a good hour bike ride if they would answer there damn phone it would have saved me a lot of time I'm not about to sell a perfectly good ps4 controller for 5$ gamestop is slowly becoming pointless I hope some new game store comes and replace them it's not fair that you gotta be a pro member to even get a remotely decent deal for...
