So I was in this cool town in Madison Indiana. I have been here 4 times over the last 6 months. I have been to MadLive and River Oak Chop House. The vibe everywhere I go here has been nothing but accommodating. I just got done eating at The chop house, they are awesome. So I was walk back to the Fairfield Inn and came across this nice looking Ice Cream shop. The lights were on, an older lady and a younger girl were behind the counter. So I went to the door and tried to open it, it was locked and the 2 people looked at me and the young girl appeared to come to the door and let me in, but went to the trash can by the door and totally ignored me. Now think of this the posted hours show they close at 8pm and it was 7:50 pm. I knocked softly but loud enough so they could hear my knock. Then they walked to the back and disappeared. As I was walking away another couple approached the door and I asked if they came for ice cream at Scoops they said yes! Well they also were disappointed because they came from accross the river from where they were staying, they said they looked online for an ice cream place and went there because there hours show they open till 8pm. Well they were also disappointed . I come here every other month, I will never try this place again! RIP SCOOPS

As the weekend was winding down people downtown began gravitating to Scoops Ice Cream Shoppe, so we followed to investigate. We found an ā€˜80s themed ice cream shop filed with vintage toys, gourmet popcorn, fudge, and Blue Bell Ice Cream. I let my wife pick our flavor and she opted for Salted Caramel Truffle. She ordered a single scoop but it was the largest scoop Iā€™ve ever seen! Fun fact about me: ice cream is my favorite food. And this ice cream was CRAZY good. I couldā€™ve eaten a gallon of it myself.

If youā€™re looking for ice cream while visiting Madison, IN you need to try Scoops! They offer a wide variety of flavors including all the favorites youā€™d expect! We both chose the one dip hot fudge sundae which was actually big enough to share! The shop decor reminded me of my childhood back in the 80ā€™s. They have a neat selection of classic WWF posters, figures, etc scattered around the shop. Definitely worth a visit while in town!

The person who waited on me was so nice and accommodating. The ice cream and toppings were top notch! I ordered the banana royal. The only complaint I have is she forgot to put the bananas in. But it was so good I didnā€™t notice until I was nearly finished. šŸ¤£I left her know and she was very apologetic. But didn't offer to give me any sliced bananas to add to what I had left, which was a surprise but it was fine because I was pretty full anyway. With bananas I would have...
