I have been taking my children here since they were born… Starting 13 years ago office has a lovely atmosphere, and we absolutely have loved Dr. Cobian. Recently we met with Dr. Andrea instead and unfortunately I can now say that the type of care you receive definitely depends on which doctor you have. We have been so disappointed with Dr. Andrea. The way she talks to kids or at least the way she talked to my kids not only gave them very low self-esteem At a time in their lives, when their esteem is the worst… 13 years old in middle school. But she also scared us as parents telling us that we needed to get tests done and it was urgent that we do it… and that basically we were in a ticking clock scenario, We followed that advice and yet we can’t get phone calls back from her giving us the test results we can’t get records sent over to the appropriate specialists to get our kids seen, it has been a nightmare. Not only is it it’s frustrating but it’s also very scary because if this is an urgent matter then why is she not treating it as such?? There is no right answer here because either a she is scaring us into spending more insurance money, etc. on testing or she is dropping the ball when it comes to a child’s health. In my opinion neither answer is acceptable. Multiple times I have called early in the morning and have made sure that I will get some kind of phone call back that same day as appointments and results depended on it and every single time 5:30 PM has come and gone and no phone call back it has taken multiple calls to the same office sometimes with me as a mother in tears. I have read reviews where Dr. Andrea is great but I can say that that level of care is not consistent for us. She has been horrible. I will make sure I never have an appointment with her again unfortunately right now trying to get my test results It is dependent on...
Read moreMy daughter has had two severe viral pictures with fever, vomiting and diarrhea, cough, congestion in less than a month. Yesterday I made an appointment for a Dr. Dr. Jativa does not go to this pediatric center on Tuesdays, So another Dr. saw my daughter. Magically, without touching it he diagnosed "a virosis" and the only thing he gave me was a Mucinex flyer, she selected two products and said "buy this at the pharmacy". In total, I will pay $ 211 for a flyer and a bottle of Mucinex. Today, we wanted to talk to Dr. Jativa, but it was not possible and her assistant spoke with us all the time. At the end of the day their recommendation was "if your daughter continues with a fever until Sunday, then take her to a hospital". We had a good 4 years of relationship, but this lack of love and professionalism, ends My daughter's relationship with this pediatric center. The only thing to highlight is the charism of Dr. Jativa; Although whe didn't have time today to talk to us, it's how little I can "save" from this company. I'm done with this pediatric center. In a general analysis, I do not recommend it. Not to mention that they were charging us an invoice that we had already paid!🙄 Update 08/31/2022: Despite this situation, we have decided to continue our relationship with this pediatric center. Although they no longer work with our insurance, Dr. Marcela Jativa, has been with my daughter Since she was born. Dr. Jativa is quite professional and I trust her professional criteria. She too is a great person. The director of RDV Pediatrics also spoke with me and we exchanged views, about what happened to my daughter. This speaks well of them and their professionalism. Money is not the problem. In the medical field, love and humanity, prevail over...
Read moreIf I could leave a 0-star review I would. I have never felt more disrespected and belittled in my life. After confirming my appointment multiple times and their policy, I was rejected at the door before my appointment. Their policy states you have somewhere between 20 days to verify insurance for a newborn. My newborn was 2 days at the time and after confirming his insurance was pending because they were awaiting a birth certificate that takes 5-7 business days to receive, they made it a point to talk amongst themselves with the entire office how this wouldn’t be accepted. rMy husband just wanted to leave at that point and they would not give us our credentials (ID & Mothers insurance) you could clearly see the manager and the front desk go at it about this issue. (The front desk was confused as to why she was turning me away because they have always done this). If they had any confusion- this should have been a back of office issue and not in front of me. Anyway- they made a new mom feel like she didn’t know what she was doing AND NOT A SINGLE PERSON validated my feelings. Left crying and my son saw a different pediatrician that SAME DAY at a different facility with no issues. I waited 3 months to see if anyone would make contact about this appointment but no one did, so they deserve this 1 star. Sad that Winnie Palmer...
