5 days total and my package was still in Pennsylvania what happened? Package showed stalled at this location for 3 days and did not move. So 31 may 2025 I took my USPS receipt and took a ride to the location, The woman at the counter was nice to me and she paged someone to come out and help me to see if they could tell me or find out what has happened to my package after 3 days showing in that location. I stepped off to the side and patiently waited. First guy came out took my information and made a copy of things and said he would go look and asked if my package had a battery I said yes, so that gave him a start on what area to look for it .. He did not find it, 20 minutes later another guy came out with another paper and he said he would also go look for it. 25 minutes later I was called to the side window where a 3rd gent was going to go look for it...
He came back in about 15 minutes and we talked about where the package was heading and he took my name and phone number and told me he would call me by the end of shift either way. 2 hours later I got a call, and he found my package.
USPS did their job and loaded it onto a truck heading west, that is where he found it. He sated the truck has sat in the lot packed for 3 days because the sub contractor refused the load for some unknown reason. He said I can come back down, and meet him at the window to get my package just bring my Id and original receipt. I took a ride down with my original receipt and my Id and was able to recover my package. He said he dug through a truck with thousands of packages to get mine recovered!! So for me this place gets 5 stars they spent a few hours to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would like to file a complaint regarding an employee named Bharat Patel. My recent experience with him was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. He was rude, dismissive, and made comments that came across as insulting and even discriminatory. When I went in to inquire about my passport, I didnāt have all the answers to his questions right away. Instead of assisting me with patience, he responded in a condescending manner, saying things like āAre you dumb?ā His tone and behavior made me feel belittled and unwelcome. Even though I did not have an appointment and simply walked in to ask if assistance was possible, he could have explained the policy politely. Instead, he rudely pointed to the board and told me they were closed, despite being right there and capable of explaining in a respectful way. It seems he may be dealing with personal issues, but regardless, his conduct towards customers is unacceptable. Multiple people have also mentioned similar negative experiences with him, which makes this a recurring concern. I strongly urge management to review this matter and address his behavior. Customer service roles require respect, patience, and professionalism, and he should be reminded of the importance of treating people with courtesy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hate the Lancaster postal service. I have had very few packages delivered to be on time or in nice condition. For instance, one time a package was marked as delivered online, but wasn't actually delivered until over 2 weeks later. Another time, a handmade birthday card from my mother arrived over TWO MONTHS late in terrible shape and the gift card inside had been stolen (the envelope was scotch-taped closed - smooth!). Several other times my packages were left in my backyard on stormy days completely unprotected so that the items inside were damaged or ruined by the time I got home from work (didn't bother to put them in plastic bags as UPS does or just keep them at the post office for me to pick up).
This latest time the track and confirm just told me that delivery was attempted and notice was left this afternoon. Well, I was home all day and heard the postman deliver my mail through the front door, but he did not knock to try to deliver a package and nothing was left by my back door either. Checked over the entire outside of the house for a notice telling me how to get my package, but of course that was a blatant lie-- no notice whatsoever to be found. No idea what to do now.
Just the worst service imaginable for something...
