River Hills Mall — Attraction in Mankato

This mall is dead . Many store are leaving and move out . Many business lose hundreds thousands of dollars and move out. Due to high rent and increased rent and no traffic. Very sad the mall manager Paul , he doesn’t care . I move out lost 200k but I so much happier now . I hope anyone whom read this review beware and stay away from this mall. They will increasingly your rent till you move out . I paid $6900 per month for 950 square foot space per month .the worse of all rent increases $7200 per month on my last 3 years they told me rent will be up $7500 per month then every years afterwards is another 300 insurance . That will put my rent to $7800 , $8100 for my last year there this is for the space of 950 square foot the lease is super long they have they probably deal with my lease attorney behind my back my attorney sold me out . I sold the business for dirt cheap and move . Many tenants take millions dollars lost . Due to no traffic, the mall look dead most time . Specially in winter . Barely see anyone go shopping . Mall is fine. They are trying to be open under Covid restrictions, which means I left without purchasing anything. I thought I might find a pair of pants, but when I found all of the fitting rooms in Penney's and Target were closed "due to Covid", I left. How do they expect to sell clothing that cannot be tried on first? I trust people have been able to refrain from licking the doorknobs and clothing items, so this baffles me. I cannot think of a more social distance spot than a fitting room. Target went further in posting a sign asking customers not to try any clothing on in the aisles. I guess they anticipate people finding the fitting rooms closed and shucking on a shirt or hat in the aisle. The topper was that the sign instructed nursing mothers to contact an associate to unlock a fitting room if needed. Fortunately the virus doesn't attack...
