Read moreHorrible customer service experience. I bought a 49.99 adapter for the Xbox one as a replacement when the original one went out after 7 years. When i got the product home it worked fine. I dont use my consoles everyday so im thinking were all good. 3 weeks later i try the console and its getting no power and the adapter is getting the red light indicating it no longer works. I try on 3 occasions to go to the local gamestop i bought it at. everytime during normal business hours, everytime the door is gated and locked. So finally I get some time on a Saturday to get in after work before they close. i was informed that im 3 days too late to exchange or get refund on the faulty equipment piece that they sold to me. Ive been a long time gamestop shopper and 50 bucks is really the hill they want to stick it to their loyal customer base on. Also phone customer service at the home office is bad. Dont shop at gamestop, Target and Walmart have better service and atleast replace the non working equipment they...
Read moreSo we bought a Xbox Controller (Preowned) got it home and my headset adapter would go in, totally should've though.. Anyway, took it back to Gamestop the next day to see what they could do. Edgar, the store manager, is a freakin wizard mann. I spent so long trying to get that adapter to work, but Edgar here, popped out his tools of wizardry and went to town. He was just as baffled at the whole thing as I was. but none the less..BOOM!! thing slid right into place! it's a pretty dope controller too, He did everything he could to save it cause it was rather unique. And he did it all on his own accord too, i didn't even say shit. There was another chick there too, and she was super nice. All in all it was an awesome experience. Just genuine people, doin genuine things...Reminds me of times of old, before steam, before gamepass. When gamers collaborated in the game stores for new releases and just normal everyday gaming shenanigan's.
Anywhoosies.. Thanks Guys, you rock! God Bless! & we'll be...
