This is a GREAT store! They have been there in Mansfield seven years and I just discovered it two Sundays ago. I noticed the large sign and tree logo caught my attention. My friend and I were headed to Half Price Books when I, a passenger, saw the tree logo parked and entered the storey. My friend and I slowly walked the entire store--seven (?) long aisles. It looks us 2.5 hours! The entire store consists of unique booths, each rented by a vendor, to display their wares and crafts on consignment without them needing tudr. I saw a painting I was interested in all the other paintings had prices. Six days later, at Mansfield's Farmer's Market, a woman was selling yard and garden art (animals, birdbaths, etc.) made of stained concrete. When I admired her huge Turtle for only $45, she gave me her card and told me to go to the Painted Tree in Mansfield and see her booth at A-21. She is the only vendor I've met. She happily answered ALL my question. After the Farmer's Market closed, I went straight back to The Painted Tree Boutique and made a beeline for booth A-21. Wow!
After that, I went to the checkout desk and asked for help getting a price on the painting I saw six days earler. A worker, carefully lowered it and we turned it over and found the affordable price on the back. She was glad to help.
When I told this same woman I had questions about items in another amazing booth--actually a double-wide booth of a single vendor--she said, "Of course, I cannot give you the vendor's personal phone number, but I can ask the vendor your questions and have her contact you. She is a personal friend of mine and lives nearby." She gave me paper and pen and I composed my questions. I am waiting and have hope after only four days to hear from the vendor. There is EVERYTHING in this store: crocheted animals, food, art, clothing, religious art and books, pet products, etc., etc. Such variety!
Visit the store like my friend and I did, and leisurely stroll through the store. You will be delighted!
P.S The button accessed my gallery photos out of chronological order, and only a few of them at that. Sorry, I had some great photos...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is pretty good for finding gifts when you have no idea what to give someone. Itās essentially a building with a lot of independent merchants like a convention. Do be careful, thereās a lot of booths that have marked up Chinese temu and wish crap, and thereās some booths with really tacky items. I would strongly caution you to not waste your time on the perfumes and other various smell goods theyāre not very good. And it amazes me how there are 4 different 3d print shops that have survived, all but one I would equate their quality to dog feces (Iāll leave it to the shop owners to deduce which they are) but Iām just particular about 3d prints and I think surprise dragon eggs are a waste of plastic, some of the poster print shops are really good and have cool stuff, some of the prints are really not good (if you buy a print make sure you inspect it closely so that you canāt see the individual pixels on it, if you can that means they copied a picture from google images and printed a low quality image to sell). Some of the clothing here is really nice, mostly womenās clothing, Iāve given a few clothing items to my girlfriend and she has loved them, also there is a kind of boho naturalist jewelry shop here that both of my sisters and girlfriend love. I like the cool socks and underwear booth, didnāt know I needed pop tart drawers until I came here, they are rather comfy and surprisingly fashionable. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I recommend coming here, but do be careful to look into what it is that you buy. If you sift through the live laugh love signs enough youāll find a good gift for pretty...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to shop here 2 days ago and found a top that I was thinking of buying for a photo shoot. When I was there they had multiples of this top. I went back in today and kept looking for the top and couldn't find it. So I decided to ask one of the lady cashiers. I told her I was in 2 days ago and found this top and I had a picture. She asked for the code and rudely replied "it had to have been longer then that. That booth has been closed." I explained it was in a 30 percent off section and I tried it on. She said oh if you teied it on it must be in the back. She had another associate look in the back. I guess I was correct because they found it. I asked will it still be 30 percent off as supposedly the booth is closed. She said no. You can clearly see the sale mark on the tag. She had attitude the whole time so I walked away. It's a shame that yall would loose business and a customer for $12. I had the money and was willing to pay but it was the attitude that made...
