I’ve came here a couple of times already and all I can say is that most of the time my drinks were ready before I arrived when ordering through the app but there were a couple of times when it wasn’t. Also beware that they aren’t willing to do any substitutions. I personally don’t like the taste of green tea and asked to do a mango tea with a black tea base instead. The girl making the drinks just looked at me and said no it can only be made with green tea. I asked her if they had ran out of black tea and she said no that there are certain formulas they have and need to stick to the original recipe. Every boba place I have gone to allows you to choose or substitute the tea base and I don’t understand how it would mess with the “formula” when you literally just use the same recipe but use black tea instead of green tea. I personally just think they were lazy and don’t like to cater to customizations on drinks at this location when the concept of boba drinks are meant to be unique and customized to your liking in the first place. Also, I’ve asked for a black tea base substitute instead of green tea at the Kung Fu tea location in Minneapolis and they gladly did it, so I know for a fact that it can be done. For this reason, I feel as though their customer service is lacking and could use some...
Read moreThey closed the doors on us when we arrived just because they were 1/2 an hour before close. They let one of the 4 of us inside and refused to let him order for the rest of us standing outside looking through the window. A girl in a blue hoodie, hat, and glasses came to the door, looked us in the face, and twisted the lock and walked away. Never have I experienced such a deliberate message that they close earlier than what is listed on the front door. Clear commitment that they just don’t care. We called our friend who was on the other side of the glass to order for us and they DID start but the girl in glasses, blue hoodie, and hat came and said no we aren’t taking anymore orders very rudely out loud then walked away. They made his tea in 2 minutes though. So we stood there while they all glanced at us making only one persons drink while we all stood on the other side of the big giant glass window. Worst tea house experience ever and I love tea houses. Never again don’t give them your hard earned money when they just wanna rush out the door themselves. Terrible. If you close at 9 you close at 9 don’t factor in clean up at 8:30 otherwise change your sign to 8:30. Just...
Read moreA guy with blue hair was at the register ringing up drinks. My drink was made incorrectly so I brought it back up and he immediately took it after I watched him handling paper money for another customer and peeled the plastic off my drink poured it into a different cup, shaking his hands multiple times as he obviously missed and got my drink all over his hands, wiped the rim with his hands, added the boba on top, and tried to reseal it. He didn't even wash his hands with water and the lid didn't seal correctly, which he would have known had he turned it upside down like he is supposed to, so I ended up with drink on my lap when I shook it to try to get the boba to the bottom of the drink. I then proceeded to watch him switch between register and drinks a few more times- never washing his hands. 🤮 I will not be returning, I am 95% sure he is the supervisor or manager there as well as I called to put in a formal complaint and speak to the manager once I was in the car and it was his voice (3 staff were there at the time of my visit, only 2 of which were men and I was...
