UPDATE: store says to contact them via email. THEY DO NOT RESPOND!!!!
Hello, This is going to be long, so bear with me. I have visited this restaurant twice since October 15, 2022 (my birthday) and then December 9, 2022 for my nieces birthday. On October 15th, my experience was fabulous! The server was attentive, I was given a free dessert, and had the whole gang sing to me! Fast forward to December 9th... my experience was just awful! I was embarrassed that I had even recommended this place for my niece's celebration. We were a group of 15. Our server Andrea ? (that was what her name tag said, but the receipt said Ines) had a bad attitude from the beginning. It seemed as if a new server was supposed to be helping our table, but then Andrea asked if we were paying together or separately, to which I responded separately - she told the new girl, oh this is going to be too hard; so she took over (kinda - the new girl was still following around). There were a whole series of things that took place that honestly made it so I am not sure I will ever return. Our drinks took forever to come once, and one, we found out after waiting 15 minutes for, she told us they were out of. So we tried another, she said rudely "we don't have that either". A few moments later, while bringing drinks, Andrea spilled a drink down my nephew's back. She said sorry, but did NOT offer anything to clean it up with. Shortly after that, my brother ordered a drink - a Maker's Manhattan and when he got it, it had bubbles in it and tasted awful. So when she came by, I told her about the drink, and she replied "that's how we make it here" no apology, nothing to try to make it right... so we told her we did not want it then and she said she would take it off the bill (she did). A bit later, after we found some people to tell them it was my niece's birthday so they could sing to her... she came over asking if we were ready for the song and asked if we wanted a dessert... to which I replied "well, doesn't she get a flan?" She responded, "NO, we don't do that any more - are you ready for the song?" I was kind of stuck at that moment - I said yeah I suppose. They came and sung and one of the other guys said smiling to her "what's the birthday girls name?" she said "I don't know" and rushed them along. The whole time, not a single smile was presented by her. There are probably a few things I forgot to mention as this was over a week ago now. I did try looking for a manager that evening, but I did not see one in sight. I am truly disappointed as the food is great, but the service is enough to make me not want to return! We spent probably over $1000 between all of us that evening and the automatic 18% was added which I understand is shared between everyone. The meat servers deserved it and pretty much everyone else, but she should not have gotten a dime...
Read moreBeen here at least a dozen times over the past 10-12 years or so. My last 2 visits (March 2024 and April 2023) I must say that I feel the service and food have dropped off a bit. My rating is based on my experience as a whole as I am hoping the last two are outliers.
Atmosphere: The decor does not seem to have changed much, but it is alright. Still in good shape but starting to feel little monotonous. Some kind of a minor refresh would do well to freshen up the vibe.
Service: A very contradictory experience for us.
The good - the dudes running around with slabs of meat on skewers are great. Always polite and seem to be at the table endlessly unless you remember to work the red/green toggle.
The bad - The servers were way less attentive the last two times. On our most recent experience we were seated by the greeter and had to wait ten minutes for our server to arrive so we could order our drinks. Our server only came back once during our entire meal to check on us. She never asked us about the food or how our meal was going. After completing our meal, we sat there doing nothing for over 15 minutes to finally see her at other tables and had to flag her down to get her attention. When we asked for the check and needed to leave, she then tried to upsell us on dessert. Sorry, too late. It took another 15 min for the check to come and she set the check down and disappeared before the 5 seconds it took for me to pick it up and put my credit card that I already had in my hand into the payment book. So instead we waited another 10 min to be ignored again and had to flag her down to get her to take the payment. And guess what... yup, another 10 min to get the receipt so we could sign and just leave. This experience alone might keep me from coming back, but if I do come back I will make sure we get a different server.
Food: The salad bar is fine, no complaints but doesn't wow me either. The meats themselves, not as great as it was 10 years ago, but still good. I feel like it is also very monotonous. Really need to be mixing it up a bit more on this front. I think having 4 or 5 regular items that are supplemented with a rotation of other options would really help. They do some of that, but I think if they rotated some of the meat choices weekly or so it might make it a little more fun and make me look forward to coming here.
Value: Price is just not worth it to me anymore. It has gone up in price, the food has lost a step. The Gauchos are great and work hard but the servers we have had last couple times were not good. The decor could use a light refresh. Won't come back for full price, but maybe once a year when I get my buy one get dinner for $1 birthday offer. Otherwise I can spend less on a more satisfying meal and...
Read moreRodizio Grill offers a meat lover's paradise with a variety of succulent cuts that make it a must-visit for anyone seeking a carnivorous dining experience. Our top pick was the Picanha, a Brazilian prime cut that was perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavor. The Garlic Steak followed closely, with its robust and well-balanced garlic flavor, and the Tri-tip impressed us with its tenderness and rich taste, especially when served medium-rare.
The bacon-wrapped chicken was a delightful surprise, combining crispy bacon and tender chicken for a burst of flavors. However, the Sweet and Spicy glazed chicken was a bit of a letdown, as the glaze lacked the expected depth and balance. The chicken heart, another unique offering, was unfortunately overcooked, resulting in a tough and dry texture.
On a brighter note, the pork sausage was juicy and flavorful, but it paled in comparison to the outstanding beef options. The salad bar, which we sampled sparingly due to our carnivore diet, did not impress. The selection was limited and lacked the vibrancy found in other Brazilian steakhouses.
Overall, Rodizio Grill excels in delivering high-quality meat cooked to your preferred temperature, with plenty of medium-rare options. While some items like the Sweet and Spicy chicken and chicken heart could use improvement, the Picanha, Garlic Steak, and Tri-tip make this restaurant a top choice for meat enthusiasts. Despite a few misses, the overall quality and variety of the meats ensure a satisfying and flavorful dining experience.
In summary, Rodizio Grill is a haven for meat lovers, where the rich flavors of Brazilian barbecue shine, making it a worthy destination for a memorable meal.
Although I say $50-$100 per person it was $55 each after tip for the brunch special price. That being said we did not order...
