It was not a be fluke this is the 2nd time we’ve had the waitress named Nigar. She is very mean rude and condescending. She brings things to table as slow as possible. My family from Arizona came this time and she took 15 extra minutes to serve us because someone went to the restroom and then another 15 min and kept passing our table. My mom was getting so worried about when we would get served I finally went to the hostess to ask about this lady. Nigar and she Nigar saw me talking to the hostess and interrupted us and started an altricatuon with me. I put my hand up and said I don’t want to talk to you. Very mean and takes her sweet time to help so long that no one is hungry anymore and I know she does that on purpose. Our cousin said if the soup is not here now just forget about it. It had been a long time around 30 min since she had been to help us. And even when you ask for refills on drinks she forgets. She said she was nervous but last time she told me she’s done this job for 30 years so she bragged about that and then said she’s nervous to serve 8 people at a table?!! Ok don’t brag about waitress longevity. I’ve done this job I smile and work hard and don’t get mean with customers. She has an attitude I thought maybe it was a fluke but she did it two visits In a row I guess we will have to go to Buca Di Beto next time for kind service and a smile and then we don’t have to keep asking for things the waitress/waiter will just see we need them. I had others get me a to go deal and dressing and they were as sweet as honey with me and so was the hostess!! My husband said the breadsticks were from the lunch rush that’s why she gave them to us they were hard. Then we asked for more she brought them at same time as the check . So the end of meal on purpose I had one because it was actually hot and soft finally . Last time I had to cheer her up so she would even serve us. My waiter/ waitress is supposed to cheer me up with a smile. Not a smiler or observer at all Nigar should be working somewhere without customers. Just alone because she is harmful to...
Read moreExtremely disappointed and shaken with maple grove Olive Garden. I've been going here for a very long time for almost every birthday, holiday or any special occasion and I have never experienced or had an encounter like this ever. From the start we're sat down and served by a waitress named muggy. We immediately could tell she wasn't having the best day as she displayed that with her every action while serving us with FIRST ACTION being she only came to check in with my family TWICE the whole time we were visiting. SECOND ACTION (The action that started everything My nephew who is 6 when we had the salad he asked for some salad and the waitress stated “I don’t know if you are aware but you can’t share and the salad is not for sharing .” We all had unlimited soup and salad but my nephew and younger brother had kids meals but wanted to pick off of my salad . After she said this in that manner and we replied that we were sorry and we misunderstood she left for another 10 minutes and the manager ‘Jess’ came out to remind us again that we can not share salad and then afterwards both Jess and muggy knew they were in the wrong in the manger it was handled and the service that was provided because for the rest of the night neither of them came to the table to check in and we ended up just paying for the tab and asking for our food to go for how long the wait was and how rude the customer service was . We love Olive Garden but to treat someone in this manger of 9.99 salad to kids is obscene. I hope that this is not taken lightly and that an investigation is completed to help prevent other families not feel indifferent and are treated this way . Olive Garden is a great business but I would over all not recommend...
Read moreWent to this maple grove olive garden for dinner and there were floating bits in my water and small chunks of food and small hairs stuck on the inside of the water glass in multiple areas. It was really off putting and to be honest I can just make spaghetti at home. I get that it can definitely be hard to make everything just right when there is such a demand to serve a large quantity of people in a short amount of time. So I don't particularly blame anyone or think that they are carelessly being dirty but let's be honest, it's olive garden and there's a good chance ur plate is going to come with some leftovers. I have always noticed this going to olive garden. Service is alright though. She helpfully and swiftly gave me a new glass of water after I asked and even followed up after to ensure I was more satisfied. So again most likely isn't careless cleaning but rather olive garden doesn't provide effective and efficient cleaning methods for their customers OR their staff to have more sanitized plates to eat off of. Hoping they install bigger kitchen space for staff and more electric dishwashers that can be cleaned regularly. Of course, I do believe their standards of cleanliness should be redefined and encouraged by staff to participate in. For now, the mysterious brownish colored bits on plates and inside cups will just be a regular experience for customers going to most olive garden locations. Also thinking back to eating off their cutlery makes me feel queezy because who knows if my forks and spoons were secretly preseasoned by dishwasher, food scaps before being wrapped up and...
