My boss wanted to buy my coworkers and I lunch, went online and ordered for everyone. The food was delivered, had coworkers order sprite but when I opened the bag it was all Coke. My soup was cold, and a coworker ordered double meat and did not get it. Called to speak with the manager who rudely let me know they were out of sprite and instead of calling to see what to substitute it for they just grabbed coke. I understand that they could have been busy but still. The reason for the review is the rude manager, this phone call was not the only interaction I had with him, after I submitted the order online I called to just confirm they had received the order and that was it, the person answering the phone whom I now am assuming was the manager was very rude at that point too. I get everyone has a bad day but seeing other reviews recently this must just be his behavior and he should not be interacting with customers if that is the case. Read moreAt about 6 p.m. on Dec 15th my wife and I entered the Potbelly Kitchen. We ordered 2 sandwiches, 1 cup of soup, a bag of chips and 2 shakes. Everything went fine with the sandwiches and we went to sit down and wait for the soup and shakes. 10 minutes later I went back up to check and was told not ready. did it again 10 minutes later and asked for the soup. Got the soup and our shakes were not ready. Finishing the soup and sandwiches I went up again - no shakes and they said they would do them now. I said, NO, get me the manager". He avoided me for 5 more minutes and then finally came up to the cash register. I said,"Skip the shakes - I'd like my money back." He started lipping off about me having a bad day and so on. I said no the worker didn't have the right tools for ice cream frozen that hard." The angered him even more and he was finally able in three tries to return my shake money." Read moreThis location only allowed app or online orders on October 22, 2023 due to being short staffed. Multiple signs were posted at the entrance and near the sandwich line. However, there were at least 3 employees behind the counter who were often standing and waiting. I ordered via the app, while standing in the restaurant, but was disappointed in the lack of updates about the status of my order as well as the substitutions made without alert/notification. Without notifications or employees calling out orders when they were ready, I needlessly waited 15 minutes based on the time estimates. I was not the only person who was dissatisfied in service.
