Margate Sports Complex — Attraction in Margate

The Margate Sorts Complex is where many of the organized sports have their practices and games in the city. A permit is required for teams to be able to use the fields. Complex amenities include youth league baseball fields, 1/4 mile exercise path, exercise stations, restrooms, concession stand, covered picnic area, and spectator seating. A baseball themed playground and splash pad were added in 2018 as well as enhancements to the baseball dugouts and a new fitness zone.

Margate hosts a number of events during the year at the complex. These include the Fourth of July fireworks and the National Night Out. The complex has adequate parking for a normal sports events but when a large event is held, parking spills out into the surrounding warehouses. We do National night every year at the complex. It's always a great time. All police FBI all the military the kids get to do Hands-On play with the gear talk to the enforcers talk to the First Responders. The firefighters do a mock rescue. it's just a great time they also feed you for free sodas hot dogs popcorn snow cones all for free all the vendors have little giveaway bags to carry your little giveaways home in it's a wonderful evening for the family and we love going every year thank you Margate for such...

We come here for my sons tball. We love it! The park is beautiful and clean, with a nice playground in the front that my daughter plays in while my son is on the field. It's a perfect layout too so we can watch him play and keep an eye on her. The concession is open, even during the week for games, and everyone has been friendly.

They also just opened a cute little water area too that is perfect for the hot weekend games...
