For 7 years we've been dining here, even before this new location. At the old location, we ate in a few time but had stop because it had an odd smell in there so we started to order picks. Never had a problem with the service. New location, numerous times dining in ourselves and/or with friends, till 4 months ago while dining with friends the waitress was absurdly rude when we simply asked for sauce that was missing from order. It was very embarrassing, we picked the place to take our friends and we talked so good about it on the way there. From that point on, since we WERE loyal customers, we decided to order pick ups, we very much enjoy supporting local family owned businesses. Early this week, we order the usual: chicken pad thai medium and ginger chicken. We received ginger chicken medium and some chicken skewers. We called and they apologize, stating next time they would take care of us. We appreciate that, we were not looking to eat free, we order and paid the first time and it was the wrong order. I'm sure you can understand that. Today we placed the usual order, when we arrived, the manager was extremely unreasonable. I am very disappointed and I regret telling my friends and family to eat at this place. Not to mention, they don't filter the water and you drink it. The veggies at times taste like chlorine too. I will never...
Read moreWe used to go here all the time and enjoyed some really good food. Our last visit, however, changed everything. While the food was enjoyable, there are other Thai restaurants that don’t treat regular customers with such disrespect. Went here for Valentines Day and made a reservation for six. My father in law has Parkinson’s which makes waiting very uncomfortable. After waiting for an hour we were told seated. They had pushed some tables together, and were still cleaning them. One of the girls on the staff then approached us and asked why we were sitting there and said we still have to wait longer, the table wasn’t ready. We left. The staff seemed very pretentious and not very friendly. The place seemed very unorganized.
Sadly, we never returned again! In all honesty, the food was always great, but as a dine in restaurant, the service you provide, goes hand in hand with the overall quality, and for that Jasmine Thai simply doesn’t live up to expectations.
Stop pretending to be the modern and stylish restaurant on Las Olas, because you’re not! The place was much better when the owners were still greeting customers and didn’t hide in...
Read moreFirst time here and we'll be back! I tried making reservations, but they only take reservations for parties of 5 or more. Anything less, is walk in. The atmosphere was really good. Casual and relaxed. I thought it'd be slightly more upscale, but that wasn't an issue at all.
The service was amazing! Our server, Sam, was absolutely great. She was pleasant, professional, honest, helpful and attentive. If and when you go, ask for her to be your server. You won't be disappointed.
My wife had the seafood combo garlic, I had the snapper thai style. Both dishes were phenomenal. I was able to enjoy the entire fish without biting into one single bone. The way they filleted the fish was pretty impressive. For dessert we had the fried ice cream. It was good, but we've had better.
Parking is tight, so be prepared to park in the adjacent plaza. However that's not a big problem because it's well lit and not a far walk at all.
Sorry I didn't take any pictures. We enjoyed our evening too much to worry...
